IDE/Theory: The final boss battle will be against Jack, GCat, Condesce and Lord English. The heroes will split them up as they know that the villains would be much too strong together.

They'll all fight in groups against them.

God Tiers will concentrate on Jack, general strong ones will concentrate on the Condesce, evasive ones will concentrate on Lord English and the rest will fight GCat.

I don't really see any sign of fragmentation in Nepeta herself--even when she's roleplaying, she's just roleplaying herself. She never gets into arguments OR goofs around with her time-displaced selves, the way Karkat and Terezi do, either. She actually has a pretty strong continuity of self. I think that maybe her passive role as Rogue, as opposed to Dirk's very very active one as Prince, meant that her understanding of Self was other-focused, rather than a splintering of her own identity.

So she was able to see/sense/understand all of the possible selves her friends could be, and how they would fit together. And in fact, possibly, help them to become those selves; she gets almost no screentime, but she certainly helped Equius be his best self. Another piece of evidence is that she eventually literally steals one of Karkat's alternate selves.

I don't think it's a matter of giving herself; Heart just means Soul or Self in the broader sense, not the self of the Heart player. In the case of a Rogue or Thief, it should apply to the selves/souls of other people. It is a weird way to think about matchmaking, but I think it makes sense--she is "stealing" of A to give to B, and of B to give to A. We don't really know if Nepeta actually tried to get her ships together or just kept notes on them, though, since she was offscreen so much.

The problem with Karkat specifically is that stealing him for herself is not what her class is all about. I agree that describing it that way inapt. It's more like file-sharing; nobody lost anything, she just has her own copy.

It is also important to note that as far as active versus passive roles go, passive roles are not neccessarily physically obtaining something for themselves perse
A rogue could very well be stealing something to keep for themselves physically, as long as it was their team that benefited from the act. Considering how Ornery Karkat is I would imagine lots of people would benefit from having his heart stolen (and thus pacified) by Nepeta.

well, i'm guessing that hussie was at least successful in hiding spades slick from LE, and somehow jake is aware of this? seriously, how has no one even commented on that yet? i mean, it's one thing for jake to know a bit more of what's going on around him than he's actually aware of, that's practically sburb 101, but to know about jack already, that's the biggest thing i took from that update.

You do know there is more than one Jack, right? There still B2 Jack, the one that the White Queen knocked out, and the one who ordered the death of Jake's dreamself. It's not much of a stretch to imagine that Jake's subconcious registered some informations about Jack.

I just had an epiphany. Remember the zillyhoo flash? With Gamzee about to hit Karkart? Well maybe that's still gonna happen.

Maybe Gamzee found a way for Karkat to go God Tier, and decides to "help a brother out", only Karkat doesn't know what's going on. Then Kanaya finds them, sees what happened, and kills Gamzee; who somehow makes it to his quest bed, and becomes Cod tier Gamzee?

I think you would godtier? It may just be that the game will not give you access to the Quest Crypt if your waking self is still alive.
