This One is unsure what to make of The Other One. Either The Other One has no concept of Morse Code and rhythmic communication or The Other One is craving fish... Quite loudly. This One decides to come back when The Other One has decided to make sense.
>: Remove Boards, Examine Window.
This One removes the remainder of the boards over the bricked up window. There is nothing new to see, simply more bricks.
>: Remove Mask, Cease Pretending.
This One is quite unsure as to the reason for his ninja garb. This One attempts to remove the mask. The mask wriggles free from This One's grasp, something This One did not know cloth could do.
>: ==>
The mask, and the remainder of This One's ninja garb, melt away into a black goo and reform into a new set of clothes. This is also something This One was not aware clothes could do.

Wardrobe Change Initiated, a voice says in This One's ear. Cycling Presets.
This One is no expert in style and unsure which of these visually appealing clothing options he should choose.

> Flip out
You stumble to your feet and take a few quick steps backwards. Suddenly you're not so bothered by this thick glass wall separating the two of you. But your head is displeased with the sudden movements. Whatever the hell that tentacle-y transforming thing on the other side is, you don't want to mess with it.
Or... or maybe you've snapped. Maybe this isn't really happening and you've lost what sense you may have had to start with. Maybe the headaches were a sign of this...
> Rummage around for painkillers
You slide open the night stand drawer and find some very convenient painkillers. At least you think they are pain killers. But really, if you're already insane, what would taking a few pills hurt ya?
You toss back a handful of the little red and white pills. And it's not long before you start to feel the effects. Your headache is fading quickly, but so is your ability to stay conscious.
> Take a nap on the bed slab
That bed slab is looking rather comfortable right now... which is impressive for something that feels like a concrete slab to do.
> Dream
You're lost somewhere in a dark and scary place. You look around frantically for a few moments, before you nearly run into the tail of a potential parental figure. But she doesn't seem to hear you...

==>
The black ooze fades from his vision and settles back over his body. He is in an unfamiliar room, bisected by glass and containing a small bathroom, an abysmally small reading room and half of an outdated kitchen. A small, old fashioned camera gazes out at an exact angle of 56 degrees to the right and 31 degrees from the ceiling.
==>
From the looks of it, this bathtub contains approximately 42.3 gallons of water polluted with God-only-knows what.
==>
The collar around his neck is a small metal containment unit. Oddly heavy for its size this mechanism is double-locked and rigged to explode should anything meddle with its working structure. This could be potentially problematic and raises a few basic questions, those of course being: 'Who put this collar on?' 'Where is he contained to?' 'Why is he being contained?' and most importantly, 'What can he do to remove the inevitable explosive and ensure the continued existence of his neck?'
==>
In search of information, he scans through the bookshelf, quickly taking in the numerous titles. The shelf is carved of old oak, about fifty years old and attached to a hidden hinge. He is unable to open the hidden space from this side more than an inch. However, it is likely that this compartment contains something. Why else would there be a hidden chamber chained shut behind an old and virtually useless bookshelf?
Surely he is not the only one with any useful insight?

There might be something in our room that we can use for that chain...
Go to the kitchen, search for knife to cut chain.
Let's have fun with this, don't let me down now.
(Finally changed my freaking avatar.)
> Grab onto that tail
You reach out and tug firmly on the potential parental figure's tail, and call out to her, but she doesn't react at all. She seems to not even know you're here! You give her a shove out of anger, and in a desperate attempt to get her to notice you...
She falls to the floor with a 'thud' and lays motionless.
> Be approached by some dark unknown being
Lil' Rayne: Momma! I'm sorry momma, I didn't mean to knock you down. ... Please get up, momma.

>: Seek Out A Knife
He moves to the kitchen and quickly searches the drawers for a sharp implement, but the drawers are all, strangely, empty of any manner of useful kitchen implements. This would make it difficult to pack for a picnic if one were to be planned in the near future.
>: Break the Chain with a Board
In an attempt to break the chain, he picks up one of the spare boards from the window and proceeds to try and hit the chain. Unfortunately, the gap between the shelf and the wall is small and it is quite difficult to swing the board properly. He pokes at the chain, it rattles within a compartment in the walls and up into the ceiling. Perhaps it connects to something else?
>: Consider the Implications of the Camera
![]()
He looks at the camera above the shower. It is fairly obvious that someone is watching. Any insight into who that might be eludes him. Luckily, the camera seems to be angled at such as way as to observe the room, and not the tub. It is at least somewhat comforting that he is not being watched by perverts.
Surely he is not the only one with any useful insight?
