For Whom the Bell Trolls

Heyo mspaf'ers, what's going down in this get down?
Well fuck, actually, I guess that is what you're here to find out, isn't it? Well here's the deal, I've been working on a little fan-album that I started sort of on a whim that goes by the name of For Whom the Bell Trolls. Which is basically a group of songs I have made specifically for this project with songs pertaining to the characters, we know and love. Along with other contributors who have made some lovely songs to go on the album as well! ( OPtimus Prime, adVANCEd, Soundrel. Lovely lads, all of them. ) I still have quite a bit of work to do to fully finish all the tracks, so I thought I'd post here to do a few things.

a) Advertise for the album, which will be available to download for free.
b) Give previews for a song or two which will be featured on the album.
c) Ask. For. Help. From this fantastic community.

As much as I'd call it 'my' album- I think it brings so much more to a homestuck project (or any project really) to have the community involved in the process as much as possible. Yea, track art is still needed from anyone who is willing to offer- I can only do so much and I'd like to avoid having the same person do track art twice! Also, hey, other musical artists are welcome to hit me up for a spot on the album! A few extra sounds could add a lot of flavor to the broth'o'music as a whole.

Below you'll be able to listen to a track from the upcoming album (this one is mastered a little loud, which will be fixed in the final version) that has gotten quite good reviews. So enjoy that!

Gah thankyouformakingthisthread. This is a work that is pretty much completed, but I really need help cleaning it up. The platform I was using is very very stupid ultimately: I have ZERO of the moneys and I cannot afford a stable platform for making my music. Can someone please think about downloading and possibly making it smoother?I also have another one that I really like... but meh. It's got bigger glitches than the first.

*Please note: I am a beginner/ novice at making music. I don't expect anyone to actually like what I've made or to clean it up.
However, it'd be cool if some nice person snatched it up and we could put both our names on it.

Another note. I've put both of these songs on two YouTube videos of MINE. So there are no issues here.

The first song seems to need just a bit of mastering to get it finalized, what I'm wondering is are these recordings, or are they just made straight on le computer?

I suggest finding a crack for a program called FL Studio, it takes some getting use-to but it's fairly simple at it's core.
