Honestly I want to see Rose be hard headed and ignore everything Kanaya tries to say to help, and see evidence that they're struggling even as friends, despite Kanaya's best efforts.

Oh man, I totally skipped checking out the room's contents.
Mostly uninteresting, I guess.
Plants, books, bookcase.
There's a chair next to a computer, that shows they still use the computers. Perhaps they still use trollian every now and again?
That couch is blocking two of the computers. Obviously they don't need too many computers. Even if they all used a computer at the same time, they'd only need, what, 6? And there are 7 immediately accessible.
Oh, right, WV. Okay, so... WV, CG, GC, GA, TT, TG, TC. Yeah, that's 7. Dunno why the Wayward Vagabond would use a computer though. He has the time to learn how to use one, I guess.
I see lots of bottles lying around. Only on the left and bottom sides though. Probably Gamzee's, except for those choice wines in the bottom-right corner.
There are some chairs arranged around a table. That could be like a group meeting place. I can just imagine the lay-out. On the couch would be Karkat, WV, Terezi, with WV being squished between the two. Then, on the two chairs on the left of the couch would be Gamzee and Kanaya. On the other side would be Dave and Rose.
Karkat - WV - Terezi
Gamzee ----- Dave
Kanaya ------ Rose
Kanaya and Rose sit across the table from each other because they are civilized people.
Terezi and Dave sit rather close together because they're best buds.
Wayward Vagabond gets the central position, and he also serves as a physical divide between Karkat and Terezi.
Gamzee sits close to Karkat because they're Moirails.
and Kanaya sits on the other side of Gamzee to keep him in line.
I am so fucking GOOD at logistics. And symbolism!

e: Of course, the couch isn't that far away from the table when the meetings are actually underway. They probably push it back so they can get off the couch more easily when meetings are over.
Yes they have meetings. They're civilized people, and they gotta stick together.
