Sir, and I pronounce it as 'wit-ch' as a soft tack-on of the 'ch' sound, because, if you sound witch out, it comes out 'wih-tch', but the syllable is a soft tack-on. See-er. Hard to put into words without sounding it out to you audibly, but I swear, this isn't one of those psycho-theories with 0 basis in logic.

Witch, though, is technically one syllable, and I can't imagine pronouncing it otherwise.
