I just really love all of them. I don't really have a favorite.

My favorite is definitely Rose, and has been since sometime before I got to the end of Act 1.

I think maybe it's because we've only seen the post-Scratch kids for an act, but I find myself leaning more towards the post-Scratch kids. Granted that the post-Scratchers are interesting in their own way (with the exception of Jane because for some reason I find her... blander than the others) but since we've witnessed more of the pre-Scratch session, the kids of that session tend to gain more favour from me.

I like the other kids too, but I find the prescratch kids more interesting. Probably because their convos seemed more "normal", if normal ever was a thing in homestuck

At first glance I find the Alpha kids get a better start, since Hussie actually made the effort to characterize them early on. That being said its difficult to get a fair comparison since the beta kids have had over 6 acts to develop as characters.

John, because he's quite an interesting, funny, mostly realistic, and well developed character when you look at him.

Jade gets my vote, mostly because I have a soft spot for chipper characters. She's goofy, smart, and positive, but also capable of getting hilariously brutal, what's not to love?

She's such a giving person that it's in her TITLE, she's a sexy badass, and her sense of humor cracks me up. Also I think she's the closest Homestuck character to me in personality, so that probably has something to do with my affinity for her.
