Why does Goblins have the most votes out of anyone in this round so far?

I can't stand Goblins. The art style makes me feel gross. Like I need to take a shower after looking at a single page of it.

ugh, the only reason why something like this comic is even still around is that a bigger power then the MSPA fandom is voting for it just to troll everybody else.... almost as if Annon is backing it.

(though, otoh, a friend of mine i've been trying to get to read MSPA does actually like Goblins... now i have to look at him go "WTF, is wrong with you?")

I haven't been able to make it through enough of it to tell you.

But I can say that it is awfully violent. Which I guess is also true of Homestuck, but in that art style... ugh.

Ooh, so many excellent webcomics this round, picking them is getting harder and harder...

I think, no matter what ends up winning, I'll wind up reading all eight of these.

I'm just disappointed Romantically Apocalyptic isn't doing better. (I've taken only the briefest of looks at Goblins, so I admit that don't really know what that's like, but I really do like RA a lot.)

And xkcd vs. OotS was tough.

The humor of goblins is very akin to OOTS, if you haven't played D&D you won't get a lot of the jokes, it's a comic geared towards a VERY specific audience. (I find it enjoyable)

Romantically Apocalyptic... Oh man, I love that comic so much. So sad that it's not doing better this round, but it's impressive it's made it this far, to be far. Absolutely beautiful art, great humor, intriguing backstory (or at least, that of it that's been hinted at)... I recommend people check it out.

Not so sure about Goblins. It seems okay from what I've seen of it, but not quite on the tier of the others on there, so I don't know. At the very least, I don't think it should be beating RA.

I feel bad, watching Girl Genius go down, but at least it's going down against us (same with Gunnerkrigg next round, I'm glad that it's doing as well as it is at least for now).

The rest, I'm... Kinda fine with whatever, I guess. (Also, didn't Drill say he updated the first post again? It still leads to last round for me.)

Also; crap, we're going against GC next round (assuming it beats QC, anyway, but it probably will, so). Personally I'm probably actually voting for Gunnerkrigg because it needs the support far more than MSPA does. And I don't want Olive Garden. And GC is a fantastic comic anyway.
