Look, I understand that you guys want that ticket to Olive Garden because it's Andrew giving it away, and could probably care less about actually going to the place.
Trust me, it's just not at all worth it.

Olive Garden? Is this some sort of punishment?
I kind of want to have it so I can burn it on camera.
I know somebody who actually LIKES olive garden. So I'd probably give it to them.
This thread has just been derpified.
Sort of like Olive Garden?
edit: Well all my choices in this round were pretty easy.
Someone (literally, his user name is apparently 'someone') posted this morning that Gunnerkrigg is winning against Penny Arcade because of the Homestuck fandom. Anyone know what that's about?

Did you read Andrew's tumblr?
e:Looks like some other good comics are still in the running too. Consider giving Gunnerkrigg Court a vote, or at least a read. It’s in a close race with Penny Arcade. I like PA, but 50 million people read it already. GKC is a good story which could use some more attention.![]()
xkcd breaks into 5 figures. Welp.

In an heroic act of unbelievable bravery, I would bring the evil gift certificate to a place where there is no change of finding a "restaurant" for people to torture their intestines; frame it and store it in a safe to keep the horror out of reach from foolish american (and canadian?) fans forever.
Occasionally, I would take it out and hang it on the wall and have soulfull conversations with it.
EDIT: How would one go about to illustrate the ComicMix servers?
Just...a totally innocent question.
Maybe just their logo...

I imagine it (their servers) as a woodchipper with average sized boards are sent through, when our fandom learned of this contest, the woodchipper was fed uncut logs. It still was able to pass the logs though, but with a little difficulty. When Andrew posted it on Tumblr, the woodchipper was then fed a grand piano, causing the server to crash, or for the woodchipper, for it to burst into flames and explode.

Round 5: http://www.comicmix.com/news/2012/03...ment-vote-now/
You know what to do.
Aw yiss. Time to do my duty.
The only other comics I've read constantly in this round are GG, GK, Goblins, and OoTS. Next round is going to get tougher. Still voting for MSPA.![]()
WELP PEOPLE, HERE WE GO.

Looking at the results of the last poll, xkcd is the only comic whose votes surpassed MSPA's.
LOOK OUT GUYS.
I'm glad to see Gunnerkrigg Court leading over Questionable Content so far. I hope it's Homestuck vs. Gunnerkrigg in the next round, simply because I know Gunnerkrigg won't make it all the way, and I would much rather see it take a noble loss against Homestuck than against the unworthy QC.
I think we and GC are going to win, and I fear xkcd wins, but I hope oots does although I've never read it but it does sound better.
But welp, it seems mainly the favorites are remaining in this round.
Also, there are quite some heavy Homestuck haters in the discussions.

My only worry is that we need the continued support of Tumblr to win. Andrew probably won't make a post for each remaining round, and most people aren't even aware you can vote once per day.
ASKER: Do you identify with any of the trolls?
ANDREW HUSSIE: Gamzee but only cause he killed a bunch of them.

we could always stack the vote against them..... esh, vote for their competition.
If you don't have a particular reason not to, I encourage you to vote for OotS. Not only is it likely an easier matchup for us, it's just a better comic. I say that as an xkcd fan. Randall has his definite moments and is eminently sharable, but Rich's work with the overarching narrative--primarily the fact that he's created an extremely interesting and original story out of the most strictly formula building blocks you can imagine--is astounding, especially when you factor in how consistently funny OotS is.
Overall, though, jegus this elite eight is stacked. So much good webcomics.
