If I were the type to write fanfiction regularly, I think there'd be a point where I'd stop, look at my total word count and ask myself some severe questions about what it is that I'm doing with my life.

You never know when something might succeed! But with that said, thinking about plans that could have been great if they had proceeded as planned is a pretty nice experience. You can think about them and think about them and always be in that state of looking forward to it while simultaneously never having to worry about failure!

edit: Oh hey, my 111th post was also about Roxy and Dirk being in the future. I like that.

Now I'm confused about everyone's dreamselves. I mean, it was made to seem as though JN, CD, DD, and HB were all targeting the kids at the same time, and Dirk did have that newspaper clipping about Jane's death if I recall correctly.
So um.
Yeah just what the hell is up with that? If the 4 kids were operating under different point in time on Earth but the same one on Skaia + Derse, then why are Dirk and Roxy the same age as Jane and Jake? Or if they aren't, how is it that Dirk can not only function as both his dream and waking self at the same time, but also in the past AND future?
Oh wait no that last sentence didn't even make sense ARGH FRIGGIN TIME SHENANIGANS.

The fact that the end of the world as we know it during B2 is via Condesce, I wonder if this session even has a Veil at all, aside from perhaps the main ectobiology lab. Perhaps it has some kind of anti-Reckoning feature so that you can't accidentally lose the means to create yourself and/or your planets First Guardian

The session's timeline is completely disjointed from that of its associated universe.
Dirk and Roxy will enter the session at the same point on its timeline as Jane has and Jake will, but from different points on B2 universe's timeline.

So, what I'm getting from this thread is giant space octosquids are eating islands in the future using read teeth which are really BatterDrone hands that grab undersea sponges to place oddly geometrical pants on for the purpose of ruing rage with a Vast Glub that causes oceans to rise and cities to fall due to people not accepting that is okay to not like things, while this one was that one and they had stars upon thars but then which one was who, while an Irish drinking song made people cry into their beers, and I still fucking hate all that transparent text bullshit, it is ridiculous and not funny, just annoying, and anyways I think I might be losing track, jegus, I don't get annoyed easy but that bugs me to no end, sorry, losing track again, okay, I'm at Roxy being a troll baby with human parents, alright, so Roxy was raised by trolls in a future wherein Thundarr was made king by the Power of Friendship and Love and Peace and then someone made a meaningful parallel between the kids and who/how/where they were raised, and then we wondered about dreamselves and how Jane's tree didn't do anything and space lasers and stuff, I think.

You made me realize that a Meteor was never much of a threat to any trolls but Terezi and Sollux

Vriska lives within a literal stones throw away from Equius. The impending meteor (which will strike after you enter) would still be a threat. Granted, early entries have smaller meteors compared to latter.
