Using shift to capitalize just makes sense, I don't know why people alternate capslock on/off, that takes time which could be used to write more stuff, also shift does extra character stuff so /shrug

I refuse to switch over to shift capitalization for the same reason that I refuse to use the notifier.


plus im awful at synchronizing my two hands at the same time it's just awful. And yeah it got so fast I dont' even notice having to press it twice anymore.

I use the caps lock method for capitalisation because it involves no deviation in method — the successive tapping of one key after another. It's a habit I've developed out of a desire not to have to think about the pressing and holding of one key combined with the pressing of one or more keys, although I doubt there's much difference in speed.
