STORYTIME IS A GO-GO!

There came an incessant moaning, rising up from the outer reaches of Redrom Kingdom. A booming clatter which chilled the bone, causing a shiver of terror to rise up through the skin, commanding every single hair on one's neck to attention. The churning call of those who had been lost in love's affairs had assailed the crimson city with a cacophony of sound, reverberating off the walls and disorienting those who had been unfortunate enough to be caught in the wake. The moaning of pure hatred, and unjust vengeance.

The latest assault by La Presidente Kraine against the Redrom, was a terrible and brutal event. Flying contraptions of pokerian shapes were seen silently gliding on the airs of a celestial alignment that could never be, moments before vessels dropped from these infernal and diabolical machines, click-clanking open on the blood red streets which then released their noxious containment. The gas flooded into the respiratory system. Citizens choked and clawed at their throats, tears building up in their eyes. They were granted the short mercy of death before being risen up against their will. Then, came the moaning.

In a warehouse, a couple. They were fortunate to not be affected by the fumes, relatively speaking of course. They had surpassed one obstacle only to be faced with another; the hordes of those who were afflicted. One was slumped down by the door, clutching at his leg which was snared by the jaw of those who sought to break them. "I can take you with me!" Differential cried, holding back the heaviness in her voice, swallowing it down like a painful needlepoint. "No, you need to go. I'll be under their influence soon." JAWDOG sputtered, trying to hide the pain from his secret lover. "Jawsie... I--" "No, leave now. I don't want both of us to be turned. I don't want to be responsible for your madness. Keep your memories of me." JAWDOG took his left hand from his gushing leg, reaching up and unhitching his hat. "Here... Something to remember me by--" JAWDOG found it impossible to reply for several minutes, coughing heavily. "You drama queen." Differential softly jeered. JAWDOG's face widened in amusement, but the paleness of his skin told another story. "... I'll always remember, keep you in my heart..." "I know you will. 'Atta girl... take care of yourself. For me." And with that, JAWDOG quietened, and Differential stood up, slowly. She struggled to stay steady. "I promise." She kissed him on the head, ruffled his hair, and after some silence, slipped out the back door, silently closing the door behind her.

I don't think anyone is trying to "stifle [the] fun" here. Plenty of people have had more than one pairing for each quadrant here - I'm pretty sure Jaws just doesn't like the notion of people trying to "destroy" this particular ship. We've both been around more than long enough to understand that this is all in good fun and it's supposed to be silly. But at the same time we are very happy together and pretty attached to our ship, as goofy as that sounds.

I am all for silly fun - ship me with whomever your little heart desires - but I would also like this one to remain canon by thread standards. c:

Well, it's like you said, it doesn't say anywhere that you can't have more than one ship in each quadrant. So, really, there isn't really a way to destroy your ships.

That being said, I shall respect Jawsie's wishes and stop drooling at him...Oh, and kraine, Jawsie...I feel like you two are gonna be best friends. >:]
