Um Warlock (RDR mod) I asked you a question related to to the ssx game earlier because the demo was on my mind and because Dash and Scoot have some sweet moves and such but now it feels dumb. Does it not even matter anyway?
In less awkward discussion march looks like a pretty good month for episodes. I hope the time episode is exciting and adventurous instead of social shenanigans like an episode of that's so raven.

I normally like fan music, but absolutely hate when people stick actual lyrics on them, and there have been more than a few times where an otherwise good tune felt ruined for me because...you know...voices.

That said, I thought "The Moon Rises" was pretty great.

I think the problem arises when people overestimate their own voices. One of the negatives of having such a caring fanbase is that true, in-your-face criticism is hard to come by unless you ask real loud for it.

That said, I've found several voiced songs to be quite lovely to listen to.

Yeah people tend to go for the 'voice' while not necessarily going for the 'acting'.

It's a problem that plagues many things of today.

To be honest, quite a lot of fanmade songs simply don't register for me, for one simple reason: they don't have lyrics. This is the only set of exceptions that springs to mind. I simply don't remember music anything like as well if it doesn't have lyrics to engage a second part of my mind.

A song without lyrics is a feeling without memories.

Emotion relates us to other events in our lives.

So too do lyrics and/or contextual songs.

I feel like I take too much of an analyzing approach to certain things, but in this case it's pretty plain to see that lyrics add a compounding effect on our ability to remember songs.

Also when there's a very distinct, easy to follow melody to a song it's easy to remember even without lyrics. I mean who doesn't remember Wily's Castle theme?

I don't think that's true for everyone.

Me, for instance. To me, voices are just another instrument in music.
Whether it's memorable or not depends entirely on the listener.
