Well, for newer readers, it's still a bit hard to chew, right? And Homestuck isn't THAT complicated by that point.

But if you read the explanation carefully, I don't see how it's difficult. Troll romance isn't even that important in the story. It's just something that is mostly played out for fun.

I heard he's making an appearance in tomorrow night's 30 Rock Live Show, and it would just be the best thing ever if he threw in a Homestuck shoutout at some point.

I'm REALLY curious as to what his reaction is to Tavros as it becomes more and more apparent that he was a huge chicken about everything.

I mean, I was cool with Tavros at this point, too. It wasn't until after Vriska's ascension that I actually started hating his guts.

Now though I'm kinda cool with him. It seems he's going to work toward redeeming himself somewhat.

This may have always been a part of Hussie's overall plan, but I've done enough Spur-of-the-moment plot changes in my own games to know that oftentimes these things are pretty malleable. The worst we can do is point and call bullshit, and then get shrugged off with a "I planned this the entire time".

I think the plan for Gamzee to do something with the bodies had been around well before Dante started to read Homestuck. As the "Don't turn your back on the body" and Gamzee macking on Tavros's head was around prior to him reading it...

Yeah. I'm not saying that current developments are occuring strictly because Dante's reading Homestuck. I'm saying that they may have slightly influenced how things played out. Probably not by a terribly large amount.

Actually from what i am reading, there were in two diff Big Pick contests, the first one Billy and Mandy won. But losing doesn't mean it couldn't have been made into a show, Megas XLR didn't win and got signed for a show of its own. So did Robot Jones (though both shows were short lived).

Though, retrospectivly, Kitty Bobo had a cool art style, akin to the classic Pink Panther cartoons. But, I would think a slice-of-life show about "20 somethings" would be lost on 8 year old children.

At one point I believe the character designer said on her tumblr that she would've liked for Dante to voice Marshall Lee.

I think Flame Prince would be a pretty good fit too!
