Homestuck is this gorgeous masterpiece: well-thought out, groundbreaking and inspirational. It's like the kind of piece that would be put up in the Smithsonian. Heartstuck is what would happen if some wannabe-artist at a nerd convention stood up and said, "HEY EVERYONE, I WILL TAKE ANY ART REQUESTS SO LONG AS IT'S LESBIANS", and then people gathered around and gave her a bunch of suggestions that coalesced into a huge painting of two schoolgirls making out with explosions in the background while the suggesters around her discussed how large the boobs should be, and in the background bloodyEmissary made a huge ornate mirror to reflect the painting in. Teddy Roosevelt and insaneYanish rap and the entire time, and ArmsAreLoud is having a deep philosophical discussion with the crowd about boobs and boob related symbolism. And the artist is listening and talking to the ever growing crowd all throughout. Oh and Kyntello is playing a haunting violin refrain having been somehow inspired by painting. Haha, I wasn't really comparing them.... okay, maybe I was. But I do agree that you sell yourself too short. Though the metaphor was pretty dope. Homestuck is good at Homestuck things, and Heartstuck is a monster of it's own. Hence why it interested me in the first place. It's not just another clone or fan adventure, it's something unique. AND IT HAS LESBIANS, so there's that. You've been doing really good lately, and my anticipation is now through the goddamned ceiling. The only suggestion I could possibly make at this point would be.... well.....

This is good. But unlike the insane clown worshipping person, I still feel homestuck is far better; as much fun as this is, and as great the art, the STORY just isn't close to equal. And yeah, Dating sim game plot, but it's an essential element to the comic medium. Oh, and lest you all forget, Hussie created the characters from scratch (Pun not intended,) and this adventure uses preconceived characters.

of course, seeing as the only complaints I can find about this adventure are a) the lack of as great a plot as homestuck and b) the lack of original characters (in some senses,) you should be able to take away from this that this adventure is amazing in all the other aspects. Except update schedule now. WHERE ARE ALL THE HOURLY UPDATES FROM THE FIRST THREAD, HUH?! (This is a joke)

In all seriousness, though, I gotta agree with Yanish, this adventure is of Homestuck-caliber in my book. While Homestuck may be well-thought out, Heartstuck is very spontaneous and at the mercy of its readers, and yet, you still manage to make all the pieces flow into each other flawlessly. That, by itself, says a lot. Where Homestuck is groundbreaking, Heartstuck has been innovative and refreshing in its take on Japanese Dating Sims. As for Homestuck being inspirational, Well, Yanish ninja'd me and said it, Heartstuck HAS LESBIANS, and lesbians are inspirational in their own way.
While this may sound alot like me comparing the two, I really am not. I'm just pointing out that both Homestuck and Heartstuck both have different things that are great about them and, Once again, as Yanish had ninja'd me and said, they are two completely different beasts and it is not fair to compare them both on the same scale. However, if someone were to ask me to rate both, Heartstuck and Homestuck, solely based on the amount of pleasure I derive from each, I can say with full confidence that I would give both the same score of about a a 9.5.
(Dear lord, this was a long post. No wonder Yanish was able to ninja me. :B)
tl;dr version: lP, I love you, Heartstuck is awesome, and you are a very talented artist and a more than exceptional writer, keep up the excellent work. :B
