A short explanation is that day 1 we need to throw some votes around to see how people react. Normally ending the first with a no lynch tends to be considered bad as Town doesn't get very much info and then the mafia kills someone so we're back to square 1 on D2. Essentially, vote, no one should hate you for it as long as you give an adequate reason. Usually.

I seriously considered trying to offer myself up as a viable lynch target to get us out of RVS, but last time I did that, it worked so well that I actually got lynched. We have four days until day end, so I guess we can stay in RVS a little longer, but RVS is never going to end at this rate.

Please don't claim for the sheer purpose of ending RVS, it's sort of counter productive and there are better ways than to just give the mafia free information.
If you have legitimate other reasons obviously I can't stop you but that's my recommendation.

Ideally RVS should end with a scumtell on someone. Claiming this early only helps scum. Then again, in this game, everyone is a PR, so claiming may not be so detrimental to town, but still it's a bit early in the marnin fer any a dose claims.
