I'm trying to RP a male rose, and I'm having trouble typing exactly correct.

I'll skip to the point: Is there a way to capitalize the beginning of each sentence, and ensure that everything is correctly spelled?

Edit: Similarly, is there a way to have everything non-caps, except for allcaps words (like yelling)?

Unfortunately, there is no way to create a spellchecker. Using regexp. It may be possible with a python function, but I'm not all to skilled in python, and don't know if it's feasible.

To ensure caps at the beginning of a sentence, including multiple sentences in the same line of text, and that all other words that are not all caps (INCLUDING proper nouns mind you), the following three, in given order, should suffice.

regexp: \b(\w+[a-z])
replace: lower(\1)

regexp: ^(\w)
replace: upper(\1)

regexp: ([.]\s\w)
replace: upper(\1)

thanks, i've added those as well as added one more for room and given them each a unique error that will randomly appear, will now be implementing the lambda to replace lower case "a" and have all uppercase "A" replaced with either two or three, or maybe any battery type [triple A, double A, D-cell, etc], and don't worry about the aperture symbol, for that i guess i'll just use 0, too bad we can't italicize, that would work much better, also to get any number of A to be 2 or three i do [in random replace]

If you want to replicate ONLY a SINGLE majuscule A, you need

I believe you misunderstood me, If its not much of a problem I'd like two seperate sets of functions, one being nocaps except for allcaps words, (ex: like dave strider WAIT WHAT'S THAT), the other being starts-of-sentences-caps (ex: Similar to this, how Rose Lalonde types.)

For the Lalonde-like one

For the Strider-like, use the first one from the previous post.

I honestly have no idea what you mean about more than one battery type. (Sorry, I'm a little bit tipsy right now, and can't for the life of me figure out what the heck you're talking about)

Anyway, I'll just cover ALL the bases.

Regexp: A
repalce: AA
AAA
Replaces EVERY A with AA or AAA

Regexp: A+

Replaces A, AA, AAA, AAAA, etc, into AA or AAA

Regexp: /bA/b

Replaces only standalone A with AA or AAA (replaces A followed by a space or punctuation)

Changing all of the A's to C's or D's would work for other battery types. Adding corresponding C and D entries to the result table would include said entries for any case an A was entered. As well, adding A entries to a C or D table would make A possible in cases where corresponding C's or D's were entered.

No. Perhaps you're not clicking "okay" after finishing testing the quirks. You'll need to do that to save the quirks to your profile.

I finally got access to my comp again and saw the reply to my quirk. I can see why you didn't understand the pattern and I made it too confusing, so I think the following thing can show what I meant without confusing everyone (including myself mostly):
WoRd WORD word wOrD WORD word (then it repeats.)
Basically what I just made the still confusing thing for us that I was wondering if you could help me (okay, I mean make me one because I am horrible at making quirks) make such a format into a quirk. Here is a example of that format.
ThE QUICK fox jUmPeD OVER the LaZy DOG.
Does that make sense? If so, I appreciate you helping me...

You can try backing up your profiles folder weekly, or any time you make new quirks. This way, if quirks start vanishing, you can just switch that name's profile with an older version.

I think you're saying "One word GaMzEeLiKe, one word MAJUSCULE, one word minuscule, repeat, yes?

In that case,

regexp: ([\w\s])([\w\s]?)
replace: upper(\1)lower(\2)
#a.k.a. the standard gamzee quirk

then

regexp: ([a-zA-Z']+,*)([.,?!\s]|)([a-zA-Z']+,*|)([.,?!\s]|)([a-zA-z']+|)
replace: \1\2upper(\3)\4lower(\5)
#leaves the first entry alone, leaves the space or punctuation after it alone. Majuscules the third entry, leaves the space or punctuation after it alone. Minuscules the final entry.

I have no ideas and even if I did, I'd have no idea how to implement them since just looking at all these codes hurt my eyes.

You could try keeping the format of his/her letters in a set format, or you could somehow have his/her quirk do with math as it is organized. I don't know what though. Wait for Cardiac, he's good at this.

That quirk doesn't quite work properly in some cases in the first place. Use the one I wrote instead.

regexp: ([a-zA-Z']+,*)([.,?!\s]|)([a-zA-Z']+|)
repalce: upper(\1)\2lower(\3)

If you want numbers to be counted, change regexp to
([a-zA-Z0-9'}+,*)([.,?!\s]|)([a-zA-Z0-9']+|)

<note the | is a pipe, not an L, it's shift+\>

As well, try hitting reload functions to be sure pesterchum is reading the upper and lower function correctly.

I have it so far where its [+s] = ss but i want to add a random hiss in it every now and then, like, say for example the word "see" was chosen to be the random word, and i want it to go "sssssee".
Just any random s to go sssssss really. Preferably 8 s' max.

Example what i have so far:
Ssample text is ssample for sseeing and ssampling

And this is what im trying to aim for:
Ssample text is ssssssssample for sseing and ssampling

EDIT: I've found one more little detail I need assistance with. When I type a sentence, it boxes off every word like it should. I even combined it with Kanaya's quirk to cap every word. My problem now is that it adds the punctuation into the box with the word, and I'd like it to be separate if possible.
As an example, how do I turn "[This] [Is] [My] [Quirk.]" into "[This] [Is] [My] [Quirk] [.]"
And make it work with question marks, exclamation marks, and commas?

Just remove the |'+ bit from the last part of the quirk.
