    MSPA site Text Size tomfoolery?

Now, this is likely due to my own ability to screw up my technologies.
However I know that this has been changed/altered by Hussie before so I don't know what is even happening.

    But
Did the text size of all the pages of Homestuck (haven't checked PS or anything else heavy with text entries) suddenly shrink a lot...?

I haven't noticed anyone else mumbling about text size alterations so I think probably not, but for some (???) reason my text is very small and no amount of zooming will correct it.

This is making it so that I can't read updates, which leads to all the sads.

Is this a localized phenomenon or is this happening to anyone else?

EDIT: Also, it isn't the WHOLE SITE. It's only the new text that you'd read during an update. The pesterlogs are smallified, as well. And from what I've revised, it's the entirety if at least Act 6.

I think it just might be you?

Have you switched to a new internet browser recently? Some browsers display fonts differently. Also, I don't think this question needed a whole thread for itself.

Yeah, I thought a whole new thread was a bit extraneous but I couldn't think of a better way to get an answer (because no one listens ever /sob)

Hmm, I haven't switched browsers, though my Firefox DID update today.

    Argh.

Not meaning to double post, but I tried in IE and it was the correct size.
So it must be just FF then...

Try going to the menu under View (I think?) and look for an option called text size and set it to the normal setting.

Huh, my text is in the small size as well, but it's always been that way. (I use IE)

The left just looks superhuge to me lol

    Sorry, Aluxu.
If you have problems, you can just copy/paste the text into notepad or some shit.
    Hope it works later.

    Same for me!

I've had the problem that the text shrunk as well, but that was because of the settings of my browser. There should be an option at the top of the page in IE that says 'Page' where you can edit the hugeness of letters. That should help.

There are a whole number of ways to accidentally change the size of text. Like, say, holding Control and spinning the mouse wheel. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee...

    I don't have a mouse wheel!
Hmm, I'll try fiddling with it. :U It just sucks to have to superzoom to read updates. :/

Apparently Ctrl + and - will also work in Firefox, and Ctrl 0 will set things back to normal, which is good to know because sometimes I don't remember what normal is!

Firefox 10 screwed up the font on the MSPA site again. Just downgrade back to 9 and everything will be back to normal.

Yeah, just re-install the previous version over the current one. You can grab whatever version of Firefox you want from here: http://www.oldversion.com/Mozilla-Firefox.html

Oh goodness thank you, I almost got used to what FF 10 did to it.

I have a copy of Firefox 1.0 on my computer so I can still read Kid Radd without automatic aliasing on scaled sprites. Darn it, Mozilla, can't we be low-tech in peace?

Now mind you this is what happens when you try to do complicated pixel-perfect graphics in a text document rending system.

So Firefox 10 does something really obnoxious. It replaces all instances of "Courier" with "Courier New". I've been trying to find a way to reverse that, but the only solution I have is to uninstall Courier New fonts completely (not recommended). I'm trying to find some way to "Fix" this, but Firefox has been really obnoxious lately.

I'm pretty sure a Firefox 11 update was just released since I was bugged about it a while ago. Maybe it fixes it!?

Or not. That's probably a thing that will happen.

Our best option really is for someone to create a ttf Courier like was done with Fixedsys Excelsior.

    You're right! :0
And setting the Monospace font default bakc to Courier doesn't work because it doesn't save the change!
