Oh man An Untitled Story is a great and difficult game and I love it to death it is amazing despite being RATHER DIFFICULT but it is ok I still love it *u*
Metroid Prime 2 Booster Ball Guardian on the original version of the game (i.e. not PAL I believe). Hard mode especially. Love getting hit for 50+ damage in a single hit in a fight that is constantly draining your health with only around 4 energy tanks to your name in a rather small arena.
Spider Guardian ain't got nuthin' on Booster Ball Guardian yo.
I love everyone.

Because I played Zelda all the time when I was a small child.
And if you put the water temple in front of a small child he flips the fuck out.
Or at least I did.
Shit took me forever to beat, one of the reasons being if you screw up you have to restart THE WHOLE FUCKING GAME.
Rayman 1, Mr. Stones level......
Oh jesus that was hell.

Chumhandle: ultraChaos
Disgaea, all those moments where you could easily go through the first few levels of a particular spot, but then the boss level forces you to go back and grind for the next few hours unless you want to have all your guys die.
Haven't gone back to it because of that.
I wanna be the guy: The whole game except the bosses which were all quite easy;
I guess the whole game Castlevania I counts too?;
Jamestown, apparently in Judgement mode, but I already have problems with the Legendary Gauntlet Mode;
The Hell part of Cave Story (Again, except for the bosses, levels to me are always the worst things, bosses are just about learning what to do and it's not that hard);
I honestly experienced so many, which probably even became inner jokes with my nerd friends, yet I can't think of any others at the moment... apart from two other things that I don't think count:
1) Today I was playing Megaman 3. On Android. The controls fucking sucked, thus making the game x4 times harder than it already is.
2) In the first level of the Fear section of Earthworm Jim 3D, there are 3 hidden marbles that, I swear, you have NO WAY to know they are there, hidden in a fucking random wall that you have to whip in order to open. When I was 12 I looked for them for DAYS and DAYS and DAYS, and there were no Walkthroughts of the game at that time. 9 Years later I re-install the game, take my save file from the old HD, and finally take the three goddamn marbles that denied my younger self the possibility to complete the game.
Final Cave in Cave Story. Been stuck here for weeks.
My Cave Story:
1. Start new game, get all the way to Final Cave
2. Be unable to beat it, rage quit and put the game down for months
3. Come back to game, find that I am nowhere near proficient enough to even come close anymore
4. Repeat steps 1-3
I have never actually beaten Cave Story.![]()
i know that feel
Really, it doesn’t matter if you are watching the meter; as this screenshot clearly shows, it’s pretty much inevitable once the water goes up for a second time (okay, maybe not so clear, but the water is coming down in this shot, tantalizingly waving sweet air relief in your face, and yet you know it is not the myth of Tantalus you should be worried about so much as that of Damocles). It’s best to focus on staying on that shoot-the-core (kekeke Gradius reference) height so that you don’t drown so easily.

definitely panic if there’s caviar
The place is huge. :c When the whole place is flooded, it feels like it takes forever going around it... and then getting lost because you don't even have the compass yet. That's just me, though. :|
Getting the final star in Super Mario Galaxy 2... eeeuuuugh. ._. Sometimes I feel like I just plain suck when everyone else tells me that it's not that hard. ;_;
I'm stuck there on my 3HP run. It's hell. Keeping track of water levels while jumping on the small platforms, having to stay reasonably close to the Core or you're stuck back to the wall and can't dodge shit while underwater, juggling between sword, bubbler and polar star to deal damage and block the ton of projectiles, where if 1 of them connects, game over...
Curly deals more damage to the core than I do. Almost all my shots go to blocking.

Hello Gundemonium Recollection.
Hello final boss that isn’t even a true final boss.
Hello poor hand–eye coordination.

Quick Reply glitched out. Sorry for duplicate.

First Castlevania game. The underground waterway with all the moving platforms and fishmen. You need to play these levels with mechanical precision to succeed. And if that wasn't bad enough, the boss of that portion of the game has undodgeable attacks that do crazy damage, and you're already at maybe half health by the time you get to him.
And then we have Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. First playthrough. Battle with Death at the top of the clock tower. I didn't want to live on this planet anymore.
Then there's Metroid Prime's Thardus. Need I say more, Metroid players?

your chumhandle is audaciouslyComplex and as your name would suggest you know to many words for your own good.
Omega Pirate isn't really difficult per say, but the Wave Beam Pirates are annoying as heck because the Wave Beam isn't that strong of a beam to begin with and auuuuuuuugh
I love everyone.

Did someone mention Mega Man 3?
Have you heard this brentalfloss song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXnFh...layer_embedded
(I don't mean to insult anyone by posting this.)
And no, I haven't played Metroid Prime.
Sorry for breaking into the conversation.

Now this isn't a personal one, but I sat through the entire Let's Play, so it counts.
Sonic 2006. Final super-secret extra-final levels. There are four more parts for this one set of levels, all of which are longer videos.
Bear in mind, the LPers had been playing for nearly 20 hours straight at this point. But even then...
Wow. How many LPs of Sonic '06 are there?
I've watched Brainscratch's Sonic '06 LP, and they made that one hilarious. Wasn't very informative though.
What kinds of crazy glitches does this show?
