'Ahoy matey! Ye be here to fight tha Sins?'
'Yes, that is why I be here.'
'Arrrr, what Sin is yer greatest, then, and which will ye fight?'



'We're ready.'
'Alright, let's go.'
The group moves to the rooms of the Black Master. The Chestgolem arrives as well, in its stupidest looking form so far.
Navy offers some last-minute advice.
'General, remember, I am the closest thing to a living brick wall. If you need it, call, and I will defend you with my body, but I cannot defend you if you are in the enemy's face attacking him.'
'Fuck that. I can take care of myself. I'm not going to fucking cower behind you idiots while you do the dirty work. I will be the one who kills the Betrayer.'
'Now, we can't have that, can we?'
Mustard becomes visible. It seems he had been standing watch in front of the Black Master's door.



'YOU!'
'Correct. Did you come to die?'
'I came to wipe your dirty faces from this dungeon!'
'Same thing, but with more selfdeception.
'Fuck you.'
General Dark launches himself at Mustard, who responds in kind. The two clash.
'Alright, let's get him!'
'No! Hang on! Mustard is occupied with his fight! We could sneak past him and go straight for the Black Master. He is the big guy here. Once he's gone, Mustard won't keep on fighting.'
The escapees consider. Assist General Dark in the fight against Mustard, weakening themselves for the fight against the Black Master, or going straight for the Big Boss?

Or, in other words, fight the optional boss or go for the main one.
As you may recall, each of the dungeon games so far had an optional boss (in the first two games it was the Sorcerer both times), and this is no different. Well, a bit, I guess, since you get help from an NPC fighting this optional boss. Three things to know, before you decide:
- As always, the optional boss is quite a bit stronger than the real boss. And while storywise General Dark should be of roughly equal strength to Mustard, if you decide to help him, I have a way around that obstacle ready. It would be suitably difficult.
- Also as always, defeating the optional boss will make the final boss a whole lot easier (since you just defeated someone who is actually stronger than the real boss, and deserve a break).
- This is also Red's optional bossfight. If you decide to skip it and go for the Black Master, it means Red is free to drop in and assist Mustard against General Dark. But then, as long as you beat the Black Master, it doesn't actually matter what happens to the General (or Mustard).

Also, it is not neccessary for you to come to a consensus. Each escapee can choose what he wants (though it might be a bad idea to split up the party between two bossfights).

Yeeeaaah, if Team Navy skips this and kills the big boss, Dark will be pissed. After all, he said that HE wants to be the one who kills the Betrayer.

Also, don't know if Red should pick Wrath or Greed.

As I said, once they've beaten the boss, all that doens't matter anymore.
Also the only reason he said that was because I needed a line for Mustard to respond to. Dark Red has more beef with Mustard than with the Betrayer.

Red's boss-sense is tingling, he pays no attention to it. Gesticulating wildly, he tries to express his thoughts to the pirate. He is obviously not very smart.

Red attempts to answer the old pirate by speaking the man's language.
'Uh... Me ye be like money. Tha Greed, G-R-EED, me be fight.'
The old man just looks confused. Red searches for even simpler words. The poor guy probably can't follow his reasoning.
'Arrrr, ye jus' go in. It'll sort itself out.'
Red shrugs and heads through the door to face his own Greed. Someone helpfully widened the entrance, meaning he can jeep all his equipment with him.



The seven Sins seem to be securely trapped in their boxes. Red wonders which one is Greed.
Suddenly, one of the boxes unlocks. That'll be it, then.
'Your items. I want them.'
'So do I. Come and get them.'

See if you can work out which guy is which sin.
They're a lot stronger than they look now, by the way. I was more concerned with giving all of them a pose than with showing off all their equipment and stuff.
No update on the bossfight, since you haven't made a choice yet. There will be none until you have (though I will continue updating Red's fight).

Though I guess I did cheat a bit with Greed and Gluttony, but I just couldn't think of proper poses for them.

Red closes his eyes, he'll need to be fully concentrated for this one. An ancestral technique passed on from generation to generation of reds. He lifts his arms on each side of his body, in the form of a cross and...

Red readies himself. This is it. He will have to use his best skills, his supreme tactical insight. There can be no errors.
He raises his blades to stab Greed to death.
'Nice Swords. Give them to me.'
Greed attacks. He jumps from one platform to another, faster than Red can follow, and his foot ends up in Red's face.
Red stabs, as planned, but Greed has bounced away by then.
Red takes Some Damage. Red is now Lightly Injured.
'I will kill you for them if I must.'
