DungeonCrawl thread 3: It is a thing of beauty

General Dark cuts through his Mouse attacker, much to the annoyance of Mustard.
'Am I going to have to keep summoning these things or what?'
Grey returns from the room of the Black Master, having decided to aid in this fight instead. Navy Defends both Brown and Grey.
'Now let's get him!'
Mustard summons a new Mouse and sends it to Grey. Navy catches it instead, mowing it aside.
The Mouse takes Some Damage.
Navy takes No Damage.
Mustard considered his targets, and forgoes attacking Grey or Brown. Instead, he kicks General Dark in the face, and sends a Force Beam at the Chest Golem.
The Chest Golem takes Great Damage. The Chest Golem has been slain!
General Dark takes No Damage, and retaliates with a spearing.
Brown springs out of the way of the Force Beam and Slows Mustard.
Grey lands his Arena Axe somewhere on Mustard's head.
Mustard takes A Little Damage.

Mustard appears to be gathering steam. He's also somewhat smarter than previous enemies, in that he recognizes the futility of attacking Defended escapees.

Steve was Browns only real way of Damaging Mustard, so the removal of that variable has added that much more to Mustards fight.

Even if you guys do manage to beat Mustard, I predict that you'll be rather low on health. Then good luck beating Black....AND red.

(Yeahhh....My Character is in the mix. There was no way I wasn't going to be cheering for him in the end)

I wonder if Brown could turn Mustard's hat into a golem only loyal to Brown. Or is the scroll all used up?

Well, it looks like Gecky hasn't been on for like, 8 days. That's starting to worry me. If he doesn't come on sooner or later Team Black Master will get screwed.

Would it be possible for me to take control of Red in the meantime?

Navy continues to protect Brown and Grey as he throws the mouse off him and Burns through Mustard's Armor.

Hopefully, the distraction will allow Red to skewer Greed to death. Hopefully.

Continue axing mustard. Try to aim for the neck, if thats possible.

Brown cries out in despair at the loss of his trusty Golem. He does not forget to support his teammates, though.
Mustard shoots a highly concentrated Force Beam at General Dark, sending him flying. Navy and Grey make good use of Mustard's undefended back. Undefended except for a Mouse Hero, that is, but Navy pushes it aside without much trouble.
Navy Melts through Mustard's Rat Suit, destroying it.
'The fuck? My suit!'
Then Grey hits him in the back with an Axe.
Mustard takes No Damage.



Red, realizing his current tactic doesn't work, goes back to his timetested technique: Being insane.
'Don't you get it? I am all of the sins, ALL OF THEM! I am everything that is evil in this world. Hehehehehe... HAHAHAHAHA- Hey, is that money?!?'
It works. Greed is distracted by the sudden mention of precious Myridin, and Red gets a hit in.
Unfortunately, he doesn't manage to damage Greed.
Greed's Speed goes down by 4.
'Fuck that's cold! Give it here!'

This would have been a problem if I updated more often than I did. As it is, you only missed one update.

Also, pity General Dark, who is reduced to being pushed aside all the time to stop the fight from being too easy.

Navy gives himself a quick judge of his condition, scratches, burns, wounds, attempting to identify how many not dying points he has left. Afterwards he identifies a course of action: Get General Dark into the fight. And if he can't bring the General to the fight, bring the fight to the General. That, and Mustard is a little too close to those stairs for his own good. Hopefully, getting smacked in the face with a burning axe from the big burly wrecking ball that is Grey and being weighed down by magic is enough to throw Mustard off his balance.

Navy follows this up by ducking low, throws his weight forwards, grabbing Mustard around the waist, and...

'I warned you about those stairs, bro.'

...shoves him down the stairs, hopefully leaving him open for an attack from General Dark along the way.

He also protects Grey and Brown.

Hi guys.
I have been away from these forums entirely for a ridiculously long time for reasons. Rather than make a big deal about returning, I just decided to update this again and see what happens. If you want to continue playing after all this time, go right ahead. I'll be ready, this time.
Also, sorry.

'King to G5. You only have that rook and your king left, haven't you?'
'Yeah, and you've only got your king and that pawn. Another draw.'
'Well, this isn't working. We'll have to go back to fighting this out.'
'About bloody time.'



Navy's longest attack to date finally connects, and he shoves Mustard down the stairs.
'I warned you about those stairs, bro.'
Mustard grabs hold of Navy and pulls him down as well, landing a Force enhanced punch in his face.
Navy takes No Damage.
Dark Red sees all this happen, and catches Mustard nicely on his Spear.
Mustard takes No Damage.
'Damnit! Can we try to attack all together for a change?'
Brown and Grey cheer Navy on.



Red attempts to Melt through Greed's Sword, but has no instruments of Melting. Instead, he just Smashes it.
'Sorry, was that worth something?'
Greed appears momentarily outraged.
'My Claw of Snatching! You will pay for this!'
The mention of payment calms him down enough to attack Red.
Without his Claw, he fails to hurt Red, though.
