Years in the making this fine game is nearing completion and has a promised release in March.

In this thread we'll discuss various things, such as the various release characters, DLC characters, the excellent music, the lovely art style, and much much more regarding Skullgirls!
Feel free to drop off PS3/Xbox names so we can be sure to compete online, and if we're lucky, potentially even have Skullgirl MSPA tournaments online.

Wait, so, the Skull Heart corrupts anyone who uses it and isn't pure of heart, right?
So I'm thinking that the only ones who would be able to use it and not be corrupted are Filia, Peacock, and Painwheel, because amnesia, insanity and also insanity respectively. So the only thing that would actually even resemble a good idea would be to just give the thing to Filia.

Of course, doing that means no kewl fightan tiems.

Also, there are no good ideas in fighting games. There is only destruction, then taunting, then Round 2, then some projectiles, then sometimes round 3, then you're done.

You should remember that giving the Skull Heart to Filia is functionally the same thing as giving the Skull Heart to Samson.

Stopping Samson from getting the Skull Heart is probably going to be a major part of Squiggly's story mode.

The thought of Samson getting his hands on the Skullheart seems like a potential bad twist for Filia's story mode if they have multiple paths (which I hope they do!), so that could certainly lead into a terrifying reality!

I don't think any one on the cast is really that pure of heart, but I also think that is part of the POINT, meaning that whatever canonically happens they can make a new skullgirl in the end and possibly make a sequel.

Also I totally support Peacock being the only one who cannot be corrupted because she doesn't have a heart.

It's funny - neither of the two characters I'm most interested in aesthetically really fit my general fighting game playstyle. I'll probably try them out, nonetheless.
