As far as I can tell, it may already be a remix as the original version (Mute City) has a lot less electric guitar.
And does the Falcon association really matter when your considering using Devil May Cry music?

True that. I should make an updated playlist with le songs that are most applicable for the position. Top fives anyone?

Just a little quicke update (tomorrow is definately worth waiting for as I will be 92% done hopefully). If you can guess what this circuit does, you are enticed to mad spoilers:

Also I will edit the playlist, but I was just wondering what you guys thought about these 2 songs:

From the new Colours and Mayhem: Universe B album I really liked the song clockstopper:
    http://homestuck.bandcamp.com/track/clockstopper

Another all around great tune is Midnight City by M83:

I will edit the playlist + the voting thingy tomorrow. Hint for circuit: It's a kit project and I have built it once before for something completely different.

Yes, Clockstopper is awesome. You should include it.

Also...I think I've already seen a circuit like this. The writing is too blurry on the chips to really give me a clear idea, though. Electronics aren't really my best domain.

Looks like a 555 timer, so I'll guess pulsing lights?

GOOD GUESS. But sadly no. this is a lot more extensive than a 555 timer circuit. Hint: the IC's are 2 amplifiers :\

It's the time travel circuit, right? I knew you wouldn't let us down.

VERY MUCH SO, THE TIME TRAVELLING CIRCUIT ONLY REQUIRES 2 AMPLIFIERS. NO FLUX CAPACITOR NEEDED HERE.

Well, Doc Brown invented the flux capacitor in 1885. Time travel has evolved quite a bit since then.

If it's not lights, perhaps something for sound effects? Like a disc scratch when you move the turntable.

I seriously hope that's what that is, because that would make this whole project even more epic, if that's even possible.

YOU'RE MAKING IT PLAY MUSIC? Holy shit, dude!

    From that poll, it was hard as hell choosing between Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix) because The Prodigy/Pendulum and Time on My Side because Homestuck. It should be both. ;o;

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAAHAA. Sorry. But yea. unmmmm. how do I say this. This picture does everything you just mentioned and more. Spoilers?
Also that board pictured in my other post is hand soldered and meant to do something completely different. I will call it "the bridge between two worlds" for now.

Lol, I told you to stick around. Looks like we're going with something more homestuck related, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve yet. Oh and definitely stick around for tonights update as I THINK I am about 92% done. Yeah that sounds right.

Naw it's cool. I understand that a lot of people don't want to read my raving explanations of what I did every Sunday so it's cool. Personally I would just look at the pictures too ;P
I'll have a video at the end that showcases everything it is capable of as well (not the one I will upload tonight).

Re: Caledscratch - More than just a prop

God I have never worked so hard in my life this weekend. This thing is rediculously heavy....time to start working out. Not that putting this thing together wasn't a work out or anything. I only have 1 side done so far and I still have a few things to do still. Jog wheels don't look like they'll be functioning though due to....issues.

NOTE: More pictures on my imgur, too lazy to upload them (but not enough to type this out for you guys).

This picture explains why you should not attempt this at home:

Oh and because I'm feeling so nice I made a video that shows that one side actually works right now:

My time is almost up so expect random updates throughout the week.

Oooh, pretty lights. Alright, that is utterly awesome. On such a degree that I think even Hussie would be ashamed that Caledscratch isn't that amazing. But FUCK! that's a lot of cables and chips. How heavy is it? An approximation of its weight.

I will put it in my will to send this prop to Hussie's children when I die. Just as a one up sort of thing. Also it's like 30 pounds. The battery itself weighs like 3 pounds. It's totally worth it though. It feels more realistic. I think?

If Hussie has childrens, of course. But hopy shit, that's kinda heavy. I think a claymore was around 7 pounds? So yeah, that's pretty heavy, even by the standard of a realistic sword. If it was made of steel, it could cleave a tree in half, horizontally.

I have to try this. Next build will be made out of steel for sure. Gunna take up some blacksmithing just for the hell of it.

You do know that lifting 30 pounds of steel would probably break your bones, right? Also, a pure steel blade would weight around 10 000 pounds. Just for your information.

    Doesn't matter; made sword.

    Badassery level > 9000

EDIT: Will change playlist tomorrow. Gotta go into a coma real quick.
