Yeh indeed. I might have to write that now...

It could be worse, though. 732 is just sort of silly-bad fanfic. Imagine if it turned things into So Bad It's Horrible fanfic.

...My God, it could be even worse than Zalgo.

I don't even want to think about what would happen in that case...

Quirk, do you have any stories of other people editing your SCPs way too much? Because I hear that happens.

No. Editing something beyond some grammar or formatting without asking the original author is a big no-no. Doesn't stop it from happening, but most of the time it's not a problem.

I think we have similar rules for my university's student publication, so it's more of a common courtesy thing in regards to writing than anything else.

These types of rules are also important to have in place generally, correct?

Yeah, it's a pretty universal thing.

    I FOUND A PLOTHOLE

The Olympia project has the olympians being cloned via SCP-22... WHICH CANNOT REPLICATE MAN-MADE THINGIES

so why doesn't that include the circuitry integrated in their brains?

    I can't find 022 anywhere in Olympia.

Also there is no canon. Only guidelines.

    http://www.scp-wiki.net/production-m...and-procedures

    Production Procedures:
Subjects are to be cloned directly from Olympia Prime using SCP-222, then modified and be implanted with the cochlear audio device. Programming can then take place.
Manmade objects are not duplicated; the cloning process is not recommended for occupants with tooth fillings or pacemakers. Clones appear to possess the same lifespan and medical conditions as their originals.

Hey so I was screwing around with Adobe Illustrator in my design class today, and guess what I discovered had come packaged with the program.
An orange version of the Foundation logo!
...I could be completely wrong though.

    @ Moldova - 222 =/= 022

222 clones as well, and can clone man-made stuff.

In case it was not clear, here's proof that the Foundation isn't real: That toaster is stupid!
Also, Hussie should totally buy SCP-1032 from them and make every hand show the life of people.

I don't believe that the I, Toaster affects you if you haven't actually seen it.

    Re: Welcome to the Foundation

I, personally, think that I am a great idea for an SCP, even though I lack much of the scariness of most examples. Of course, I get kind of scary when you imagine what it might be like to start thinking that you are me, and then you stick a piece of bread in your mouth and jam your finger in an electrical socket and die.
...I could be completely wrong though.

Also about the olympia project, what happened to the cyborg? Was she assigned to a MTF?

Olympia was only really a little pet project for KPC, it seems. I honestly didn't even know about it until now.

Also no canon. (We tend to say that a lot, forgive me)

off course, like they say, the world would have ended a hundred times already if all of them are canon.

sorry, I meant to say SCP-222. It doesn't clone man-made stuff.

    Re: Welcome to the Foundation

The SCP Foundation is pretty awesome. All the delicious content aside, editing and writing articles there helped my understanding of narrative flow like nothing else: SCP articles all follow a very stringent template and common pace, and if your flow doesn't match it, it's immediately obvious upon reading. So you learn to feel and match your flow to the Foundation, and from there, match your flow to other types of writing, or notice and correct/copy the unique flows of others' work elsewhere.

Basically, I wouldn't be nearly as good a writer without them. I'm pretty thankful.

I have a short member page (Dr. Blast) there, and made SCPs 483 (Anti-Aging Placebos), 316 (Color-Draining Light), and 504 (Critical Tomatoes).

I was wondering if someone was going to give that kind of response, especially since you guys might not recognize each other on sites outside of the SCP area (and visa versa).

Also, the Critical Tomatoes article is excellent.

    Especially it's response to SNL.

Something tells me that a majority of the scp fans reads mspa, as seen above.
