Well, it was nice to see John and "Jade" talk/type in their original colors, for how long it lasted. Since this is probably going to be the only dream sequence we see in the intermission, don't expect to see their old colors again until after the Mario Intermission is over. Unless I do a short gag, like with the Badtranslator thing.

We're nearing the end of the kid's plot in Intermission Act 2. But we still have the troll segment, which might take up a page or so.

We will now cut away from this part to show the eighth and last unseen (for now) kid, Dave. You are now him moments before his fangirl attack, and his "saneness" extends to this narration. Without any gimmiks such as Rip narrating or me talking directly to you with my kinda annoying "color a third of the line red, a third yellow, and a third blue" quirk.

Actually, no, you're not Dave. This is because Dave, along with Rose and Roxy, are outside of the Mario subspace. Throughout this intermission, you cannot command anyone who isn't in the Mario region. That includes Troll Town, the eight worlds, and even the region of space between them all. We can see them, however, and we might see them during Intermission Act 3. In fact, consider his little fangirl invasion and whatever Rose and Roxy are doing to be a little taste of Act 2. But even though we're not him, this narration will still be crystal clear.

It looks like Dave is making an update to his famous webcomic Coolstuck, about three cool dudes (Burt, Jeff, and Geromy) playing a cool game called "SBURB." About a year ago he introduced nine cool mermaids, and they have since led to a large expansion of the fanbase, to the point where they get a disproportunate ammount of fan art compared to their screentime. Since this introduction, his friends have been reading this for different reasons: John is actually following the complicated plot about the end of the world and the two warring kingdoms, which is nice because while he liked his experiment with dividing the fanbase and multiplying the cast, it's good to see that there are at least some people who still care about the SBURB session; Jade, however, unironically reads it mostly for the mermaids. Rose seems to enjoy both reading for the same reasons as John and for phychoanalysing it and trying to find how what he write relates to his phyce or something.

Speaking of Rose, she is also pestering Dave right now. But we'll get to that.

While we're talking about who we can't be and why, I think it's time I finally elaborate on an elephant in the room. Namley, how the hell did John and Jade become Mario and Luigi, and where the hell is this new world? Well, to explain; the new Mario game transports the players inside of it. John's house, Hank Hill's house, and a small town on Earth called "Troll Town," (this takes place in a universe where humans and trolls live on the same planet, but more on that later) were warped, yet Jade's house wasn't. That last part will seem more odd later. Somewhere in World 1, there is an actual portal to the real world outside of the game, leading to where John's house was at. When the game is over, the portal will still be there, only it will be in his living room or by the game console or something. Things like Morshu and the Penguin John gave his present to were a part of the game, but the Fox Crew and Millennium were not; they were outsiders who decided to settle their conflict within the world of a video game being played by two thirteen year olds. Because they're wierd like that. Well, mostly the Fox Crew.

As for why Dirk's playing as Link in a Mario game, let's just say that this game has some complicated multiplayer options.

(Before you ask, no, conversations from your perspective are not written with good spelling and grammar. So if, say, Rose were to answer you, what she says will still have occasional typoes.)

Yep, we're focusing on the trolls for now. The reason why is that I've noticed the plot slowing down to a crawl. Well, it was before, but for a different reason: I kept switching between people at a rapid pace, and while their individual points went by quickly, together very little was done. Then I decided to have an arc focused just around John, Jade, Dirk, Nepeta, and John's clone with fire powers. But then that started moving kind of slowly; especially in the dream sequence towards the end of it. This, I feel, might have the right ammount of pacing.

And yes, this adventure has fantrolls. You may panic now. Just want to know in advance, does anyone find Other CG's quirk kind of confusing? To elaborate, she capitalizes clauses, and instead of ending them with periods or commas she capitalizes the last letter.

In hindsight, this would make for a perfect page topper.

Well, first Karkat's possesion comes into play again and then we finally go back to the dating foursome. And yes, these two plots will intersect during the STAHMT segment. The plots are finally starting to come together.

By the way, I paired Gamzee with Aradia and Terezi with Feferi because Gamzee/Aradia was the first result when I tried to randomize a pairing list once and because teal and pink-red are my favorite colors. They're both crack, I know, but that's sort of the point. If the first date is anything to go by, expect a lot more crack couples along the way.

Terezi's quirk is a pain in the ass to type. I'm so use to As, Es, and Is, so as you can guess there were several times where I either paused or outright typed the letter instead of the number. Especially annoying since those letters are in almost every word.

Other than that, I'll give a little recap of who's where:

Titular Two and Their Gang: John, Jade, and Green Nepeta are still by the inn. (Or, at this point in time, they're in World 7.) FIRE John Egbert had just started going into the hidden area that he was direct to go to in his dreams. Red, Yellow, Cerulian, and presumably the other blood colored Nepetas are somewhere in World 8. (No, they were not part of FIRE John's dream. but all those colored Jades were.) Dirk jacked the gang's Jetpack of Progress (which, come to think of it, Jade probably has all of the other jetpacks from the previous six worlds) in order to take a trip to World 5 in efforts of finding rubys and buying powerful items.

Trolls: Karkat has been possesed by the Waterwraith after eating it, undergoing hysteria, and getting the effects temporarly canceled out when Jade feeds him sopur slime. During the time when the Waterwraith's plasma was dormant, he was playing a match of the Yu-Gi-Oh card game and beat Anger Crabman, which ends a war between the two races of trolls and trols. Kanaya, Sollux, Equius, and Eridan were observing this match. Afterward, the Wraith overtook Karkat's body and chased the four into the yellow ship, which was transported to Troll Town from World 7 by the Captain. But we'll get to that. Terezi, Feferi, Gamzee, and Aradia ended their brief date due to Terminators (we'll get to why they're there. Trust me) only to find themselves getting chased by Waterwraith-possessed Karkat, and they hid in the same ship. Vriska and Tavros are still somewhere in World 4.

Fox Crew and Millennium: Peter, Cleveland, and Stan are dead, and their bodies are respectivley in Worlds 2, 5, and the yellow ship (originally 7 but he was in the ship, which Captain moved). Hank is still wandering around Troll Town. Luke and Cartman are dead in World 2. Jan is somewhere around that world too, but what he does after killing Peter is unknown so far. Tubalcain is still in World 5 after shortly killing the Janitor. Schrodinger's wereabouts are unknown after he teleported himself out of the ship/World 7 using his coin. Zorin is also dead in World 5. Walter, White Text Guy, and Lord Major Quimby's whereabouts are unknown. Doctor is still dead in Troll Town's hospital. Rip was last seen in World 7 talking directly to Team John for the first time. Captain moved the yellow ship to Troll Town in efforts of making a base to sneak attack Hank, which Waterwraith has stumbled into. Hydra may or not still be within the ship. Death Mecha was blown up by Rip in World 7, and Darkhorse was flatened by Waterwraith in Troll Town. As for the rest of the Hellsing characters, Rip mentioned that Alucard is dead in her brief flashback. As for the rest, their status is unknown.

Other: Jane and Jake were border patroling World 8-4, although since it's late by Earth standards they might be asleep by now. Evil Yoshi (who is now a Charhazard), Silencer, Homer Simpson, some random nude Ghost Woman, and a bank robberer who may or may not be Problem Sleuth were still last seen in the theater, but I swear we'll see them again. Rose and Roxy were in what is presumably their house, with Roxy in a tank for some reason. Dave was last seen updating his comic in his house. Good Yoshi has been taken to an unknown point in World 8-4 thanks to a warp whistle. Morshu is still running his shop/inn. The Evil is at the end of World 8-4 with The Pincess [sic] still being captive. Fuck You Trol and Anger Crabman have litterally left the story, because I decided against crossing over the two adventures because TS is wierd and random even by SJAHJ standards and the two universes just don't... fit. Everyone else doesn't really matter.

I'm starting to resume work on Onionstuck. The update itself depends on how soon I can figure out how to draw someone on a computer in the veil. And yes, the next update will have a brief preview of the Mushroom Pikmin. Two of them, in fact. And no, the situation isn't quite like the one in Homestuck.

There's a reason why Tavros isn't in the last picture. You'll see later.

However, leaving out Other CG trailing them was a mistake. I might fix that later.

Since the Mario game, as it was revealed a few updates ago, is actually a beta released soley to John (and Jade), it's sort of glitchy. Backwards Long Jumps won't work outside of the Mario verse. And by the way, this includes stuff brought in from the real world, like the trolls' houses/hives (given that the two societies have met in some point in history in this universe, I'm not quite sure what terminology to use) or the yellow ship. Since they are not specifically coded as part of the game. So this means that Vriska is basically stranded once she lands there.

While we're talking about glitches, going too far out of bounds automatically sends a person out of the portal as though they use it from World 1.

Why am I elaborating on the mechanics of an "ironic" adventure...

Might redesign Other CG (That derpy chartreuse blood in the first panel. And I don't care if UU turns out to be a chartreuse blood.), or at least her symbol. The symbol in question is supposed to look like a half-circle on the right side with a line going right, down, and right again, and the left side is a curve connecting the two ends of the half-circle.

I might also make her horns bigger. One's supposed to look like a jester hat's spike (or whatever you call it) and the other is supposed to look like a dog ear. And then there's the issue with outlines and her hair going over the outline of her shirt, so it kinda looks like her shirt is eating her. I get to that tomorrow.

Terezi isn't auspistising between Karkat and Other CG. She's acting as a lawyer of sorts to help them negotiate the problem with hemospectrum representation in Troll Town. Basically, sort of like what Problem Sleuth was supposed to do with the four kingdoms, but he cheated instead.

There will probably not be any fully legitimate sound pages since I don't have flash, and if I did I probably wouldn't really use it on this. There is likley to be pages with an "[S]" tag without a question mark, but those will go kinda like in Equiquest: a link to a Youtube video, followed by the panels that the music is supposed to be played to.
