Remember when I mentioned that I was trying flash? Well never mind. In all likelihood, this adventure will never have a single flash update. I had high hopes for a cheap program called toufee, but it was basically just a movie maker. I could import images and audio, and give them transitions, but it was basically just a slideshow. I could position the images however I wanted, but couldn't make the images move or have other effects. The worst part was that I couldn't even import animated gifs. I wasn't willing to pay a monthly fee for a movie maker.

HOWEVER, there will probably be animations of the movie variety! I found an awesome online movie maker which can use animated gifs, is totally free, and is pretty intuitive. My animations will just have to be series of still pictures, interspersed with gifs, set to music. Which works out just fine for me, because that is still a pretty cool, yet easy to master style. The only limitation of this movie maker is that the free version only lets you upload 10 mins of movie per month. But honestly, how would I ever make more than three 3 minute animations per month anyway?

Even though you've never met him, you're certain you've SEEN HIS FACE BEFORE, even before the first time you poked your head in his window. Maybe you're just mistaking him for someone else, although that is extremely unlikely, given that you have never seen another HUMAN besides for him.

What's that now? Obviously you are your real self. If you weren't, who would be? Unless you want to have a dream in which you think that that version of yourself is the real self, which would just be ridiculous. Besides, you can never remember your dreams anyway. You're not entirely sure you even have dreams.

Wow, that's a lot of options. I love having so many things to choose from. Remember guys, the more suggestions, the greater the chance of you saying something I want, and the less I have to feel like an asshole when I try to direct the story some other way. And obviously, even if I don't use a suggestion now, I might still use it later. (See: Gwen: trampoline.)

By the by, all you avid Doctor Who fans out there will definitely see plenty of references (overt or otherwise) to the show. It's basically my religion. Although, Kara's name had nothing to do with Donna. Well, maybe a little to do with it...

Also, apologies for the fact that updates are likely to start thinning out (for real this time!! (yeah right, you adventure-addicted weirdo (shut up!!!))) for a little while. Fieldstuck's first ever Flash* update is now in progress, although its in-story ETA has the potential to be pretty flexible, so it won't take all of my time. Also it's test season, so I'll be studying (for once).

*Since I haven't found a feasible way to make actual Flash, I will instead be making movies composed of still images and/or gifs. But since it sounds a little lame to say "movie update," I think I'll coin a new term-- Bursts. Or Flares. I'll let you decide.
