    ACB - Torposhark

The microshark has moved to new waters, with more prey but also more rough terrain and denser flora. Because of this, it has adapted a heat sensor near it's nose to detect pray easier. It also developed a flat and wider tail along with a slightly more sleek body shape to move around easier. If it could talk, it would yell at you to always use .pngs unless it's an animation which in that case use a .gif or an .apng.

One question. Is it possible to start off a new chain with a new creature while the other one continues?

I would suggest not to. The evolution efforts are already spread quite thin, and this is just getting started.

Ok, fixed. Thanks for catching that.

    Sparksong Eel ABBA

Its vocal cords have developed. Bioelectric power has increased range.
It can now make whale-song like noises that seem to lure its prey out of hiding where it can strike with its electrical nodes.
In addition, these songs are used to communicate, and have helped these creatures form packs, both for protection and the ability to catch more food for everyone.

These songs have found their way into the human music industry and were rather successful a few decades back.
Some of the more popular tracks include Dancing Queen, SOS and Take A Chance on Me.

Aw hell yes. That is all.

I need to show my mum this, she loves ABBA. The obvious next step to make ACDC.

    Tiger Nerf-ABABA

Large evolutionary strides have since lead to the Tiger Nerf. The fins of its predecessor have become small feet which can also be used as primitive graspers. This creature is bipedal and amphibious, as well as a respectable runner. Stripes now adorn its entire body.

    Sea Shambler (ABC)

It's other fins have modified to become much like it's tail, and it now uses these to awkwardly shuffle along the sea floor.

Why the hell do I keep doing so many evolutions of AB? Lol.

    AAB - Siltdigger

The siltdigger has gotten sensory organs all over it's body, and digs in the ground and rocks to both hide and get fish hiding in much smaller holes. To do this, it develops a sharp nose (like his brethren down a different evolutionary path) and claws over all of his fins.

    Re: Evolution creature

I've gone back and named some of the earlier evolutions that hadn't received a name.

    Re: Evolution creature

I just noticed something about all the evolutions I made for the shocking siltsifter. They all have the initials SS, and now so does the one they evolved from. Lol. XD

EDIT: I just realised I have broken one of the rules. One of the rules stated you can only evolve a creature once. I have evolved AB 3 times. At least, I think I interpreted the rules right.

    EDIT 2: Made another creature

    Slimy Toad (ABAAA)

Originating from the Slick-back Sandcrawler, it's tail shrunk until it was not much but a stub. It's front legs became less like fins and more like legs, with a small claw on the back of each. It's body also grew more bulbous.

    AABA - Lancer

The nose horn has grown exponentially and is now used both for streamlining and a hunting tactic. Jagged teeth have started to grow in. Its tail has also grown larger to enable powerful strokes and thus faster movement. It has also adopted a more streamlined form. Its eyesight has slightly improved but its primary hunting method is to slash around wildly with its lance.

Yes, you are only supposed to evolve any 1 form once.

    Shamblesquid-ABCA

The Shamblesquid has a shorter body and milkier coloring compared to its predecessor, the Sea Shambler. Now resembling a four-armed octopus, the Shamblesquid has since adapted to catching small fish with it's tentacles. The new coloring allows this creature to disguise itself as a large rock.

    ABCAA - the Hunter Shamblesquid

The Hunter shamblesquid has developed cloaking technology reactive camouflage to blend in with almost any surroundings. It also has developed tiny bristles on its tentacles that deliver a neurotoxin to its prey, allowing it to capture more dangerous fish with less struggle.

    Re: Evolution creature

    Scorpio Nerf-ABABAA

The Tiger Nerf has developed a stinger on the end of its' tail for defence, as well as a second pair of legs so it may run faster to escape potential predators.

    Spark Sleeper - ABBB

The spark sleeper has become entirely stationary, anchoring itself to a cave or rock crevice with what remains of its pectoral fins. Its tail has all but disappeared and the electrical nodes on it have shrunken into mere nonfunctional spots from disuse. Its electrical power has been focused into its now flat face (to allow for greater surface area, and streamlining is unnecessary). Its mouth gapes open, wide, waiting for its prey stunned by its electrical discharge to float in and be digested. It itself has adopted a more rocky color in order to blend in with its surroundings.

    Armored Siltshifter-AAABA

The Armored Siltshifter has developed a very large shell which protects it from all but the strongest predators. Since it would be more convenient for the Armored Siltshifter to see its food before it eats it, this creature walks tail-first so it can evaluate its meal prior to dining.

I use the pencil tool with gimp, since that gives you the hard lines, and makes it easy to edit.

    Shocking Bloodsucker - ABD

One species of the Shocking Sandsifter went down a parasitic evolutionary path, it's mouth becoming specialized for attaching to wounds and sucking out blood. This creature also causes said wounds with a sharp barb on its elongated tail, with the electrical nodes adapted to numb the pain and prevent the host from knowing it is hurt. It has also developed extra eyes in a circle around its head, though these are undeveloped and have much poorer sight than the original eyes.

I use paint for the images, but he problem is the largest brush I have without anti-aliasing is the pencil tool which colours in individual pixels. So I use paintbrush instead.

Get GIMP. Its free, and vastly superior to paint.

Thing is, I have a download limit, and between me and my brother with our youtube surfing, I'm not sure I want to add something else to the mix and possibly push us over like last month and be not allowed on the internet.
