    How about Cerulean!Terezi? She is obsessed with freedom and constantly encourages others to be independent and make their own decisions, but her idealism makes her oblivious to the feelings of those who are hurt by these decisions. She also may or may not (metaphorically) dream of being able to fly.

    Indigo!Karkat, who faces alcohol issues and most times is drunk and angry, but is quite calm, collected and a good person when sober. His friends always calm him down, and he just can't help it but drink more to wash all the pain he has, because, on an accident, his leg was shot.
