You are now the fancily dressed girl.

Your name is HANNAH LaROUGE. You are great at keeping secrets.

You live in a mansion that you inherited after both of your parents were simultaneously crushed by meteors. You don't know much about that because it happened 3 years before you were born. Of course, you learned this by word of mouth from your butler; JEEVES. He was given the task of taking care of you after the incident.

You enjoy dressing up, and you spend most of your time doing just that. Like the dress you're in now; you aren't going anywhere fancy, but you absolutely ADORE this dress. It makes you feel like a QUEEN.

Other than dressing up, you enjoy a variety of different activities, most of which you never have the time to do. You're always pressed for time, somebody's constantly vying for your attention. Some of the things you do get a chance to do, however; are drawing, painting, and other articular activities. Yes, you said articular. That's a word now, Offishuly Officially.

Speaking of people always wanting to talk to you, there's someone pestering you right now on your computer.

You decide to take Rick's advice and get some towels to form into rope. he seems to think that you need a lot of rope for adventures, and you can't prove him otherwise. He has a lot more experience than you.

You proceed to go toward your bathroom, stopping only to pick up your pet lynx; Li'l Cal. The Cal stands for Caltrop, because he has really sharp claws, and he will hurt you if you step on him. You've made that mistake too many times, and by too many you mean once. Once is too many in this kind of situation.

Despite what you mentioned to Rick previously, you are not only confined to your room; you have the entire upper floor of your mansion perfectly normal sized house all to yourself. You consider it to all be one massive room, with hallways. You are allowed to tread throughout, but no further. You get to your bathroom, which is on the opposite side of the floor as your bedchamber, and go inside.

Inside the bathroom are:
A toilet
A shower
A bathtub
A sink

At first glance, this seems like a normal bathroom. But if you were to describe it in detail, it would make anybody drool with envy. For instance, what you call your 'bathtub' has a nearly 15 foot diameter, and has thirteen different taps. Your shower is the size of a small room, and your toilet is of the self-heating variety.

But to you it's your bathroom.

You go over to the closet door and grab as many towels as you can, which is around six. You bring them back to your bedroom. You then do the same thing ten more times, until you have all of the towels in your bedroom. You have a lot of towels. Now you just need to figure out what to do with them.

You take the towels, and use Lil Cal's claw to cut them into strips. You then braid the strips together into a long rope. You think that you could use it to rappel yourself out of your room and onto the safe, warm- is that smoke?
You turn around and see that the rope you made is on fire.
Wait...

The rope is on fire...

OH MY GOG THE ROPE IS ON FIRE!!!

You flip your shit, and start running around in circles screaming. You don't even notice when Lil' Cal gets eaten by the approaching vermillion tide. It's getting hotter and hotter in the bathroom, and it's getting harder to breathe. You fall to the floor coughing. The smoke burns at your eyes, forcing them shut.

Since your eyes are closed, you don't see Jeeves somehow manage to put out the flames, and somehow manage to disappearify Lil' Cal's body from the room. When you DO look up, he is staring down at you with a disappointed, yet indifferent expression on his face. He pulls out a flask of~ something, you're not exactly sure what it is. He takes a deep chug from it, and then manages to clean up the bathroom in the way that only a butler can.

After the mess is cleaned up, he looks at you for a long moment. You can't fathom what is going on through his head behind his fabulous, fantastic moustache. He disappears for a moment, and then he suddenly is back, and he calmly places in front of you a neatly folded pile of clothes. On top of the clothes are two envelopes. One of them has a yellow spirograph, the other has a black house separated into ten segments. It's the game. He's letting you play the game.

You feel tears coming on.

You get your computer, and put in the disk with the house on it.
Tears start spilling out of the corners of your eyes, despite your best efforts to keep them in. It's just that Jeeves has never shown any recognition that you were grown up enough to do things by yourself before. You check out the outfit he left you, it's the same one Lara Croft wears in her games, complete with dual pistol holders. You don't know why he would get you this, you've never touched a gun in your life. You've never allocated your strife specibus before either.

You've researched the game, and you've so far figured out that there are two tasks each player is assigned at the start of the game: the Server and the Client. This disk is the Server one. You discussed it with your friends, and luckily for you, you get to be Kaede's server at the beginning of the game!

There's no loading screen, but when a window opens, all you see is a black screen. Oh. Kaede must not be on yet. You decide to pester him to get started.

Yep, that seems about right. Boy, that's a really interesting story that will probably have something major to do with the plot eventually. It's good to recap on just exactly how things happened, and boy, was this happening of events just a doozy! It's one of the shenanigan-iest stories you've ever heard.

But the readers don't have the HARP OF MEMORIES, so they can't see your flashback. That's all well and good, because to be honest your imagination is really shitty.

So... you may have noticed the new Reader Items program I've added to the adventure. Let me explain how this is going to work. Starting after this post, every post readers place giving the characters suggestions will be worth 1(ONE) Reader Point, or RP. At certain checkpoints, you all will unlock new abilities in the comic, such as the HARP OF MEMORIES, as stated above. I will add a counter stating the RP on the bottom of each of my updates. Have fun unlocking them all!

Note: It's one RP for each post on the thread, not each suggestion (myto_alkoreath). And please, please don't spam the thread.

Note: These don't work person to person, it's the entire reader base. The first person to comment stating >Reader: Use ____ activates the item.

20 RP- HARP OF MEMORIES- Readers gain the ability to see the character's flashbacks
30 RP- CURTAIN CALL- The story will change to a different character who has already been introduced
40 RP- ENTER STAGE LEFT- A new character will be introduced

You can't do that, because that's not what happened! No, what happened was much more confusing than that, and would make an awesome story sometime. You'll have to ask QB to write it down when you're able to talk to him. He's a good writer, unlike you.

After an hour or two of patiently waiting and/or running around doing crazy shit you haven't been able to do in the time you've been gone, you check your computer. The annoying loading screen is gone, and a pixely title screen came up that says:

You press enter. The window on the screen goes black, but nothing else happens. You notice that you're being pestered by Hannah, so you open up that window and talk.

You move the cursor on the screen. You attempt to hit Kaede, but it just goes through him, being a game construct and all. But when you click on a tray with cookies placed in skewed lines along the top, and you click; you see that you can move it. You drop the cookies, because you can see Kaede flipping the fuck out. He's all like 'That doesn't happen, it's just a game!' and you're all like, 'Oh y3s I can, I'm a godd3ss in Lara Croft's cloth3s', and he's all, 'What does that even mean?' and you're all like, 'My butl3r got m3 adv3ntur3 cloth3s, isn't h3 nic3?' and he's all like, 'You have a 6utler?'.

Of course, that conversation doesn't happen, but you like to play out conversations in your head. That's usually how they end up. Apparently your head friends can't believe that you're rich either.

You proceed to Destroy Everything For Idiotic Living Entropy. Yes, you just made that up on the spot. Kaede's house is looking more and more like a post-war scene that a hurricane just passed through, and then got followed by a flood. And it already looked bad to begin with. You pick up his bed and throw it into a wall. Books go flying. You rip the ceiling fan off and frisbee it out of the window. You've never felt this powerful before!
