Even if it doesn't reach the full amount, it shows there is enough support out there so he can hopefully make the concert happen. Possibly by getting everyone to re-donate since Kickstarter doesn't charge anyone unless the full amount is met.

Somehow I doubt we'd get as many people to re-donate; and I'm not sure Kickstarter would be totally open to us trying again after failure.
Not that we're going to fail, seeing as we've gotten a lot of pledges in a very short amount of time.
