I think I'll save this cave for later. Dunno what is here, but I'm just not feeling it. If it's anything like every other game, it will have this generation's version of Zubat and Geodude and Clefairy, and I'm not sure I want any of em.

If I remember correctly, that cave has Woobat, which is the 5th generation Zubat stand-in. Except, I think Woobat is sort of better? It's psychic/flying, and has decent stats.

Woobat just looks so stupid that even if he had base stats of 500 across the board you would never be able to get me to use him.

I make regular use of my Crobat, and I don't mind Golbat. I was saying that I remember thinking that woobat was a bit better than zubat, unevolved.

I could somewhat tell; mine had a bit more thought to it. Specifically, the most any Pokemon has combined is 720.

Why not test your luck and try to catch a drillbur? In the cave you have to wait for some sort of fucking cloud of dirt to appear and then walk over to it. and its either a drillbur or some gem. Totally worth it though because drillbur is a beast

I'm lucky enough that I managed to exit the cave without finding anything. If it's something I can do without moving I'll give it a try.

I'm not sure if it's cheating or not since it's a nuzlocke, but repel works for shaking grass/dirt clouds.

Repel works also. Basically you have to run laps around the place until dust clouds appear, inspect them and they'll have either an item or a drillbur.

That would not necessarily be cheating, horribly sneaky, but there is no rule about repel use.

Although, Swoobat is pretty awesome IMO. I like it a lot better than using Pidove for a Flying-type

It is both highly unlikely and incredibly lucky that you got a Blitzle. Spent over half an hour trying to find one in my run

I find that Blitzle, while having power, has low HP and gets killed very easily. You're going to have to watch out for that.

And thinking about it I theoretically could do a White run but it'd be using my shitty 3DS camera :v
