It's odd, because Jade's looks significantly older and 'worn' compares to Jake's at the same 'time'
Of Jade's, only one planet tower, and the Derse's moon remain standing.
Of Jake's, It's almost completely intact, barring Derse's Moon and the Prospit attachment to the frog temple as a whole.
Both temples have been missing their Prospit towers.
ugh.
i dunno if its been asked but, why did the kids have to create a bilious slick despite scratching their session? i must have missed a pesterlog somewhere...
They were going to save some effort.
By performing frog duties, Jade had completed what was presumably the Genesis Tadpole. All they needed to do was take it with them to the new Session (which will more than likely lack a Frog planet [initially anyways] due to no space player) where he may finally find a pond to squat in.

ugh.
@Cervos Thanks, makes sense now![]()
I remember wondering about this a long time ago but forgot about the question. I still don't know the answer.
What's with the barcodes on the wrists of the Prospitian and Dersite citizens? I don't think we ever got an explanation in the comic and I only remembered to ask this just now.
Okay, I don't get this... Sorry if this is a stupid question/has been answered, but I looked to see if it had been...
How does the last gate(session relative) work? I mean, from my understanding, the gate would take you to your denizen on your world instead of to the last planet, and you would skip it altogether? But I somehow doubt this is the case.
The last gate brings you to the Denizen's den, which I believe leads to another gate that leads to Skaia? I remember reading this SOMEWHERE.
or I made it up and I believe I read it.
ugh.
In every session, there are seven gates. For John, this means: 1: LOWAS -> 2: Rose's House -> 3: LOLAR -> 4: Dave's House -> 5: LOHAC -> 6: Jade's House -> 7: Typheus's palace
For Karkat, this means: 1: LOPAH -> Terezi's House -> 3: LOTAF -> 4. Gamzee's House -> 5: LOTAM -> 6: Tavros's House -> 7: Blood Denizen's palace
Note that Karkat skips a lot more planets than John! BUT, Karkat tells Kanaya that he's been all over the Incipisphere (including Prospit, Derse and the Battlefield as places he's been to several times). The gate system is a good way of keeping track of progression and allowing movement through the Incipisphere, it's not a set rule. John could choose, now that he can fly, to just fly up to the seventh gate above Jade's house and hang out with Echidna, or hop through the second and go frog hunting. In fact, since he wouldn't have arrived at Jade's house without the tower being built up that high, in a normal session he could just walk down to a lower gate, which would either lead to LOFAF or LOHAC depending on whether they're entry or exit gates. He could also have chose to level grind terribly at his house and build up to gate 2 there, which would have led to LOFAF (well, actually it probably wouldn't have since Jade's gates weren't there yet and it would have... huh. I guess it would go to the house of whoever had most recently entered but that's neither here nor there).
So basically, yes the gate system skips things. It's just it doesn't matter.
I can't remember if this was answered before. How did the exiles get to earth from Skaia/Prospit/Derse?
I have nothing interesting to say here. Move along, now.
Through reckoning portals. WV rode through one on wreckage after Noir blew up the ship he was riding on. AR went through one in the ecto lab meteor. WQ came through on her personal ship. WK was in the Lotus capsule in the frog temple. We haven't seen how PM made it into a portal. It was probably in a similar fashion as the rest.
We know that Jack arrived in the troll session at 10:25 before the Critical Moment, destroyed Prospit at 6:12, Derse at 4:13, and Bilious Slick at 0:00. At some point he also destroyed the 12 planets, but other than that has Andrew mentioned what Jack was doing in between his attacks? Since he can teleport it can't be travel time.
No, he pretty clearly teleports here.
He used his rocketboard probably.
I seem to recall a panel where Terezi is standing, shrugging and grinning similarly to here, except without her glasses (and with eyes closed). Does it exist?
