Lusus, in Homestuck, is short for Lusus naturae, a Latin phrase meaning freak of nature. It is a fourth declension noun, meaning that its endings are the same as noun "manus". The correct pronunciation of "lusus" has the first 'u' long (oo) and the second short (uh). The plural of "lusus" is also "lusus", but with both 'u's long.

Obviously it would not be convenient for us to use the latin plural in English. So it is correct to use the plural "lususes", instead of treating it like a second declension noun and saying "lusi", or even tacking on an extra 'i' to it for some unfathomable reason.

Just to add my two cents, I'm pretty sure the compete stop is because he's working on the end of Act 6 Act 2 animation, mostly because it is at the point where it is calling back to two points in the story that were almost immediately followed by animations (Jade's entry and Dave going to the roof to fight Bro). He said he's been working on the book in his Tumblr, so I can't see why he would just stop altogether unless he was working on something like this.

Okay...so...I apologize because I am about to sound very ignorant. T_T I have so many questions. I ask these because I was planning on making a fanadventure, and then I realized that I don't understand the specifics.

1. What...rules are there for the trolls' signs? Are they sort of random?
2. Can two trolls can have same blood color? Can the colors vary?
3. Could another SGRUB session occur during the 12 canon trolls timeline so there'd be two seperate sessions?
-If so, would the trolls in the seperate sessions share Derse/Prospit moons or not?
-Protocol for naming/titles?4. How was it that the 12 trolls had one session? I don't quite understnad the Mobius Doublereacharound thing.
-If so, would the trolls in the seperate sessions shalre Derse/Prospit moons or not, or are they seperate?

4. Karkat's blood is mutant, but...isn't Aradia's blood a type of red as well?
5. I believe it is called the ~ATH book, the book that appears bloodstained. What is it? Sort of a history book of sorts?

1. The trolls use the zodiac signs.
2. Yes, many trolls have the same blood color, even the same symbol. For the latter, it is however very rare and when it happens, those two trolls have a lot in common.
3. No. It's actually quite hard to understand and explain but here's the big thing : the Ancestors were players in an alternate universe. They were forced to scratch their session, and then became the actual trolls we see. SGRUB was a massively-distributed game in the Ancestors' session, but because of the Scratch, only the twelve of them were brought into play.
3a. No, different sessions have differents incipispheres.
3b. The twelve trolls were always part of one session. The Mobius Double Reacharound is because they believe they were separated into two teams, even though the first red player (Karkat) was the server player for the last blue player (Sollux), while the first blue player (Equius) was the last red player (Vriska) server player.
3c. I don't really understand that one, sorry.
4. Karkat's blood is mutant because it's candy red blood. It's completely out of the hemospectrum.
5. The book is a paradox. It was created by Doc Scratch for compiling the story, but Aradia's ancestor stole it and brought it into the trolls' session. It was then stained with the blood of each trolls while they were in a doomed timeline, then Doc Scratch took it back.
6. The Pre-Scratch universe, commonly referred to as B1 is the original Kids' universe. When a Scratch happens, the guardians and players are switched, just like the trolls were.
7. No definite answers yet. Many believe he's a component of the game.
8. The Veil is a meteors chain right outside of the Incipisphere (the session in itself). They usually fall onto Skaia when the Reckoning begin. A lot of stuff on it is still unexplained.
9. Doc Scratch's appartment. That's what it is, so we call it like that. No canon name yet.

I don't quite undertand this. The signs we have seen are those of the Zodiac, but it is implied that there are many more.

2. Can two trolls can have same blood color? Can the colors vary?

There seem to be 13 official colours (Those of the trolls not counting Karkat, the dude that Vriska killed with black blood, and the one that Karkat supposedly is supposed to have, a light green) and of course Karkat, whose blood is red because it lacks pigment.

3. Could another SGRUB session occur during the 12 canon trolls timeline so there'd be two seperate sessions?
-If so, would the trolls in the seperate sessions share Derse/Prospit moons or not?

This all seems to be speculation, but a serperate session being able to take lace from the same planet seems unlikely because all life on Alternia would have been wiped out.

No. Aradia's blood colour has pigment to it; it is the same colour that appears at the top of a rainbow. Karkat's blood is the same as that of a human.

It is a code book. John and Karkat both have a copy. Aradia from a doomed timeline found that Gamzee had killed all of the other 11 trolls and used their blood to create the last part of the code to create Doc Scratch. She then brought it to the main timeline where it was stolen by Derse Agents.

6. Is Pre-Scratch universe John and other kids? How is it that they are their guardian's guardians in the Jane universe? This has me really mixed up.

It is a requirement of a Scratch. The leader of a session will be responsible for creating the heroes of their session as well as their direct genetic ancestors. When a Scratch occours, the heroes become the ancestors. This happened to the trolls and the humans.

7. Why are Jane's/John's fathers similar?

It is a mystery at this point.

The veil is a circle of meteors at the very edge of The Medium and obscuring the view of Derse from the other planets. It is a place where a lot of technology exists for creating Dersite and Prospitian soldiers. One of the doomed Aradia's teleported the trolls to a meteor in the Veil right before Jack killed them all, so they set up computer equipment there and used it to communicate with the humans.

9. The green place with hallways where Hussie/Mr. Vanilla Milkshake (I'm sorry I forgot his name xD...)/Aradia's ancestor....does that place have a name?

It is Doc Scratch's mansion. I dunno, Felt Manor? It is on Alternia's green moon. I don't think anything else has been said about it.

I don't think that's quite correct. It started out as Karkat's programming-language manual. ~ATH is a programming language that both he and Sollux know, so odds are it's a commercially available book on Alternia. (Which doesn't really explain how John has a copy, but.) In a doomed timeline, Gamzee wrote his "honk HONK" portion of the ectobiology code in it, using the blood of his teammates. That timeline's Aradia took it back in time with her, so that the book (and its message) would be available, as the alpha timeline copy was destroyed when Karkat ran the program that blew up his computer. It was then fed into the ectobiology machine that made the cueball.

How it ended up in said cueball's possession, I couldn't say, although it appears to have done so.

1: We don't know any definite rules, except that the signs are probably unique to their blood colors, and there are a lot of them.
2: There are 12 Troll blood colors: the 11 trolls aside from Karkat, and another jade green color. There are very few trolls of Feferi's color, because it's reserved for the monarch. Only Feferi's and Eridan's colors can be seadwellers.
3: If other trolls played in a session, it'd have to be a different one. We saw all the towers on the moons in the trolls' session, so there can't be more players.
- That session was always fated to be a single session because they were always fated to link their sessions by Karkat bringing in Sollux and Equius bringing in Kanaya.
- The troll players have names of 6 - 6 letters. Aside from that, who knows.
4: Aradia's blood is one of the acknowledged troll blood colors. Karkat's is mutant candy red.
5: It contains genetic code similar to Rose's MEOW book, and was used to make Doc Scratch. After that, it was used by him as a scrapbook.
6: The Pre-scratch universe was the universe with the kids up to cascade. In the post-scratch universe, the kids and ancestors are swapped, probably because they were created in the other universe, and then duplicated when they went through Skaia's defense portals, and their meteors arrived in different times.

8:The Veil is the asteroid belt. The trolls retreated there because Jack destroyed everywhere else.
9: Doc Scratch's building is on Alternia's Green Moon. It doesn't have a special name I don't think.

Well, yes, but given when Bec's meteor is implied to have landed, and Alternia's arc number, I'd expect it to look considerably more aged if that were the full explanation.

But that's getting away from simple questions a bit.

Heh, I've been posting this question every time Hussie has opened his Ask box (or the equivalent). My money is on yes, this should happen; it would make it easier to repopulate the planet that way at least. But it's entirely in IDE territory at this point, or "we don't know".

My 3rd question, about the possibility of another, seperate session taking place at the same time as the original 12 trolls;
I guess I should just explain the basis of the story I was trying to write. The session would be caused by Sollux giving the game to another troll outside the original 12, and that troll would start a game with 7 others and would remain in a seperate session. (They would be playing SGRUB at the same time as the original 12, otherwise if they would die via meteors.) These new trolls were not involved in the Ancestors' session long before, and since this would likely create a paradox of sorts, their session would be doomed. Thus the plot would be trying to get back to the alpha timeline.
Does this make sense/is that possible?

WV was on a ship with Liv Tyler and CD. Jack destroyed it, but WV survived while riding on its remnants which fell through one of the defense portals to Earth.

No specifics on PM. Probably used a ship and did the same thing as WV.
