Jake will also practice with his knife in his sleep.In my spare time I like to revive extinct animals, but then I kill them for exotic cuisine!

Karkat eats 2 Rations
+1 Experience!
Kashuan eats no meal.
Everyone Else eats 1 Ration.
Then everyone gets into their bedding arrangements. People sleep and take their watches. Nothing happens during the watches.
Karkat takes the third shift. He limps over to the outside and keeps an eye out. He is very quiet and it is very calm outside. He almost nods off several times.
Finally, Karkat wakes up and realizes that he has fallen asleep on watch. He quickly looks around, but sees nothing and his party is still ok. He then checks on the potato garden and also finds it ok.
However, Karkat looks towards some distant trees. He sees something moving. It almost looks like...
Karkat shuts his eyes and turns around, blindly running inside the house. He didn't care what it really was, just as long as it wasn't it.
He quickly got somebody else up, and they took over his shift. Nothing else happened for the rest of the night.
It is now Morning!
The survivors get up and check on things. They notice that tiny little sprouts have come up in the outside garden, making all of them quite happy. However, they will run out of food long before these potatoes are ready to be eaten, and they will need to get back to scavenging!
The Stronghold has 100 Defense!

Richard gathers scavenging party volunteers and makes tracks for the three remaining buildings to the East.

Uh, oh boy... I wonder if this is the safest thing to do. Now that we've got potatoes, someone's gotta watch em, but... Vincent didn't really have the best time.
I'll do it if I have to, though...

Everyone walks off with Richard except for Kashuan who watches the plants while practicing with his sawblade.

Richard takes the longest to leave the Stronghold, though he is leading. He leads the others to the large building to the right of the other two explored ones.
Within, they thankfully find no fiends. But they do find:

The black book is very weird and not like the other books. It is filled with crazy ass drawings and words scribbled everywhere, even in the margins. It would take somebody with Academics LVL 3 to decode and actually read it.

Jake picks up the single rifle bullet and slides it into his pocket. He then picks up what he can from the barricading supplies without being burdened too much.

Karkat grabs whatever barricading supplies he can get without putting too much weight on his leg, then checks out the other 2 unexplored buildings from the windows of the one we're currently in.

Our survival will be inevitably linked with all the other survivors... somehow... even if the link is very small.

Vincent returns some stuff to the Stronghold, and is now defending it with Kashuan.
The party picks up the items they specify, and the building is picked clean.
Then, Karkat and Richard look over to the next buildings.
In the left one, a ruckus was occurring. It didn't take any levels in Scouting to see that.
They ran over to the building in instinct.
Within, they saw a marauder fighting a person! The marauder had a large gash in its side, where Karkat had chainsawed it.
The person was a female, who was dodging and slashing at the fiend. She jumped back from the thing and drew her knife back, and psychic energies swirled around the knife, and she threw it with great strength. The marauder cried out as the knife hit it's weakest spot, the gash, and it fell down dead.
Then, the women looked at the party, just noticing them. Her strange jewelry jingled with the moment.
"Oh, hey guys."
Madame Greys has rejoined the party! +3 Experience for killing that Marauder!
With that marauder dead, the building is now clear. Within, they find:
