No meal for Madame Greys, but some 3x bedding, what with her hard day and all. Also, she starts pondering about the animals that invaded the stronghold. Perhaps if found, they could be an... Alternative source of rations.

Kashuan quickly reorganizes the base and makes it cleaner, giving everyone a nice +5% Mental Health. How nice.
Karkat refills his chainsaw using 5 Fuel. He also chows down and eats 3 rations.
KARKAT HAS LEVELED UP
Jake, Kashuan, Richard, and The Professor all eat a 1x meal. Except Vincent who is fat and eats 2 meals.
VINCENT HAS LEVELED UP
Everyone gets their bedding too.
Jake reads 5% of The Watcher. He has to pay some attention too!
Vincent reads 10% of The Human Psyche.

During Jake's watch, he switches from reading his book and looking off into the night to see if anything is coming. All he hears is the sound of crickets.
However, as time goes on, he begins to hear a very slight buzzing sound. He isn't sure what is happening, and lacks the Scouting skill to find the direction or source of the sound. Soon though, the sound gets so loud that he has to stand up and figure out what is going on. He puts down his book and prepares himself for battle.
Just then, he sees a weird looking creature walk up closer to the farmhouse. It looked like a very scruffy cat, but with patches of fur from other animals. It was also very fat. The sound was now deafening. The cat was purring extremely loudly! He connected in his mind that these might be the same creatures that raided the farmhouse when nobody was there earlier today.
He stepped forward and instantly regretted it.
The ugly thing opened its cantankerous jaw, and a literal stream of flies and insects spewed out, like a water cannon, right at Jake.
It wasn't purring, that was the sound of the flies.
The bugs flew at him and scratched him and bit him. Thankfully, he was able to swat them away and ignore many of the bits, and due to his Defense skill he only took 2 damage. It also seemed that the bugs that were shot at died in just a few seconds, but the thing was preparing for another blast!
At the same moment, two more of the fiends sauntered out of the darkness and seemed ready to join the fight. The others were still asleep inside, what will Jake do?
The Stronghold has 100 Defense!

Madame Greys wakes up, and quickly assesses the situation. "Vincent, use a telekinetic flash!" She yells, before heading off after the fiend attacking Jake. She picks up two bottles of perfume and throws one at the fiend, to distract it.

Jake sees the others charging in and charges in as well! He tries to take the brunt of the blows and stabs at the Fiend which attacked him.

Jake screams and takes cover from the bugs. Due to his defense and body skills, he takes no damage from the blast after taking cover!
The other survivors quickly mobilize!
Richard runs outside with a shovel and runs at one of the fiends. Even though he is running, his Master Sneaking allows him to get pretty close without even being noticed. Right then, Madame Greys comes out with 2 bottles of perfume. She throws one, while simultaneously using a psychic flash. The flash distracts a cat and the bugs long enough for Richard to knock it dead in one blow!
Madame Greys and Richard both gain +1 Experience!
Kashuan throws his sawblade at a different fiend after Madame Greys distracts them. It gets pretty close, but misses. Trying to hit such a small target in the dark made it very difficult to be accurate.
Jake runs forward nearby Karkat at another fiend. Jake takes 2 damage from the stream of insects coming at him, but takes all the blows from his buddy Karkat! He gets close and stabs, but it misses. The cat then fires a close-range blast of bugs at his head, knocking him back and dealing an additional 1 damage!
Karkat then runs up and prepares to strike, but was struck by two streams of bugs. He actually felt the bugs tugging at him and pulling on him in unison, and he suddenly lost his balance.
He saw himself start to fall forward, and the world seemed to move in slow motion. He saw his own chainsaw coming ever closer to his head. He began to see his life flash before his eyes.
Like hell that's gonna happen.
Karkat suddenly flings his foot forward, all his berserker charging at people with his chainsaw has finally paid off, he feels the great strength in his body that has grown only recently. He then takes a quick side-step using his new found Athleticism and manages to cut open the cat, its scruffy body flying apart, a massive amount of black smoke coming out of it, and all the flies it had spit out died instantly.
Karkat and Jake both get +1 Experience!
The Professor tries to stab the last fiend, but the attack is deflected by a stream of flies that quickly swarm him and deal 3 damage. The final fiend realizes it gets no easy food today, and runs off into the night, the buzzing disappearing with it.
Well, now that that's over, everyone can go back to sleep. But everyone can see the sun slowly rising far off in the distance. Since everyone went to be early, perhaps they could start the day early? Or does everyone want to get 40 winks?
