Guess this means no scavenging any of our old barricading supplies from last game.
I thank them for the information and suggest to the others that we move on to the next building to the northeast.
Vincent begins to read through the new book
...Hardware store... burnt down? Demons...? Ah, blast it all... I hope the other survivors aren't as bad as the Pygmies make them seem.
(Weird, Dragonpaul, I wanted to explore that exact same building.)
>Well, let's go. Pass the buildings directly north and east of the pygmy one, and instead, head diagonally north and east to the small building.
....Also,
> Copy Jake by throwing the sawblade ahead and picking it up as I walk.
(Riou has the best ideas.)
Richard follows the others Northeast, but sneaks off on his own toward the mansion once they go into the building.

Think I'm gonna stay with the pygmies for a bit, use a bit of empathy, see if they need help with anything. It's always good to have an army on your side.

DAT PROFESSOR.
In my spare time I like to revive extinct animals, but then I kill them for exotic cuisine!
The Professor goes to sleep. Aww.
Vincent begins to read The Warden- a gripping tale of a prison warden in Alcatraz. He gets about 10% of the way through it. In the meantime, Jake goes and checks on the potatoes. They are ready to be harvested. Leaving them here would just waste the good food.
Kashuan decided to start throwing his weapon like an idiot, but he only did it twice. He realized that this was too dangerous and noisy to do constantly. Besides they weren't far from their destination now anyway.
Karkat, Richard, and Kashuan all go towards the northwestern small building. It was a small house, as the buildings on this street were.
Richard sneaks off, for whatever reason.
Madame Greys uses her Empathy and checks out the Pygmies. They had a nice little society, with several families and groups coming together in their own little town. Each family had a small portion of a room, often a closet or a space under a bed, and each had small amounts of tiny tools and furniture and clothing. Each section were portioned off by fabric, something to give privacy but still allowed for skittering away if they were attacked.
As she reached out, she felt a young Pygmy mother become very upset. She saw her tiny boy had climbed up onto a large piece of furniture, falling from that height would kill him. The other pygmies tried to help, but they weren't tall enough. The boy then began to lose his grip and Madame Greys felt a great surge of fear come from him.
Kashuan and Karkat go into the new building, and within they see a fiend digging through some papers!

Vincent helps harvest the potatoes
Jake harvests the potatoes along with Vincent when he notices the book.
"That book. Is it the Warden? Man, I used to always read it before when I was off duty, and when everything else was... normal. Never really did finish it."
In my spare time I like to revive extinct animals, but then I kill them for exotic cuisine!
CATCH THE KID! You know, using Madame Greys powers to slow him down, and diving to catch him. Or just pick him up if she can reach him.
Jake and Vincent harvest the potatoes. It takes a bit of time, but after sorting them into ration-sized sets, they are pleased with the results.
The first potato harvest yields 12 Rations!
The interior garden will take 2 more days to be harvested.
Jake and Vincent gain +1 Experience!
Karkat and Kashuan attack the fiend! Karkat runs at it and swings his chainsaw, managing to give it a good deep cut across the back, but the fiend howls in pain and jumps away, brandishing its razor sharp claws, and begins to lunge at Karkat! It attacks so fast and furiously that he can't ready his chainsaw in time!
The Professor continues to sleep.
Madame Greys quickly catches the stupid kid before he falls. The pygmies rejoice and thank her for saving his life. She can tell that they like her and trust her group more.
Madame Greys gains +1 Experience!
Richard suddenly shows up at the Stronghold with a friend! The friend wears a eye-patch and is pretty nice. He says that he's not saying, instead just asking to stay the night before he moves on to the big Sanatorium down the road. He says he bumped into Richard nears the mansion up north, and would feel alot safer if he could sleep with all of you for the night.

Jake takes The Warden book and starts reading it. If somebody else wants to read it, he'll give it to them.

Hmm... Madame Greys decides to see if they have any crops, and if so, use her survivalist skill to tell the pygmies how to grow them better. If they don't have any crops, its back to the stronghold.
Vincent will try reading the strangers mind
