hmm i think i posted about this earlier lol! but it depends on who i'm speaking with and my mood and where i'm typing. usually i type a lot like jade!! i generally don't capitalize but use correct grammar and punctuation. Occasionally, I capitalize, but generally i am just too lazy!! :B!

Hey there. I'm Courtney. I like "they" pronouns, and I like that from what I've seen in these forums that's a thing that people will both get and respect. I also accidentally posted in the 7th intro thread, because sometimes I'm bad at the internets. I'm pretty new to the fandom, as I finished Homestuck in a 3 day period, just shy of two months ago when I was stuck on the couch with a fever. I had some pretty rad fever-dreams involving time travel, robots, and dead alternate timeline mes in those three days though.

1) What is your favorite MS Paint Adventures moment?
[S] Cascade. I was still drowning in fever when I first watched it, which made it so. mindblowingly. epic.

2) Who is your favorite MS Paint Adventures character?
Dave. I think he's really a giant dork with delusions of coolkidness, which I feel like most of the time.

3) Favorite non-MSPA work of fiction?
Jorge Luis Borges short stories. I can't choose one. My top three are Borges and I, The Garden of Forking Paths (link is a PDF), and The Circular Ruins. I want to write about how much I love China Mieville too, but I won't because you probably don't care. I love books and short stories that fuck with reality like Borges and Mieville do.

4) What music do you like?
Punk, jangly 60s pop, modern music inspired by said jangly music, jazz (ranging from 20s-60s, big band to Billie Holiday, but not so much modern or the Sinatra type), a touch of older blues, hiphop (mainstream and underground), and oh goodness so much more. I like to pretend that modern Boot-In-Your-Ass type country doesn't exist, and I can't get into dubstep. Those are my only active musical dislikes though.

5) What non-Homestuck things do you like to do.
Swimming, being academic* and thinking about critical theory-type things, riding my tiny motorscooter, reading books, being near (and usually in) bodies of water, and cooking and eating delicious food.
*I mean that in the least pretentious way possible. I'm not gonna be all "I hate you I think you're not intelligent because you haven't read/heard of all this obscure stuff bluh bluh" eff that judgmental noise.

I don't even know. Favorites are hard.

House of Leaves is a fantastic book, and probably my favorite. As for webcomics go, Questionable Content was the first webcomic with an actual story that I really started to like, and it's what got me into my new love of webcomics. There's also a lot of MLP fanfics I love.

4) What music do you like?
I like a lot of different kinds of music, but my favorite types are rock, metal, and jazz, despite the fact that all the music I make is electronic/experimental/ambient/whatever.

5) What's your typing quirk?
I type normally, I would assume. Although sometimes I'm lazy and won't care much about capitalizing proper I's.

Okay, well hello there everyone! I stalked the forums for a week before finally deciding to get an account... So here we go, I guess...

1) What is your favorite MS Paint Adventures moment?

My friend had done a "Homestuck according to..." thing with me which sparked my interest, but this was my very first contact with anything MSPA. I was on DA and I saw some fanart from that particular flash and a link to it. Kind of knowing the characters, I watched it and just ended up terribly confused, so I went back to the beginning and... here I am! I suppose I'm just sentimental because this was my first encounter, but it's definitely my favorite.

2) Who is your favorite MS Paint Adventures character?
Eridan. He wears a cape and has hipster glasses. I love capes and for some reason a lot of my friends have hipster glasses... Also his struggles are adorable. Maybe Tavros, but that could be because I'm a Taurus.

3) Favorite non-MSPA work of fiction?
Hard to say, really. I read so much I can never really choose...

4) What music do you like?
I'll listen to just about anything as long as there is actual music in it. I do prefer country and classic to other types if I can pick, though.

5) What's your typing quirk?
I don't have one. I just type how I talk, so sometimes I'll use improper grammar... Other than that though, nothing.

6) What is your favorite Homestuck album?
Hard to say really, seeing as I haven't actually heard the first four. Out of the ones I have heard I have to say I love the eight one.

That's pretty hard... I tend to just go with what's canon, if only so I'm not disappointed. I just find it hard to ship something unless it's at least hinted at... That being said, I do really like Feferi and Eridan, whether flushed or as moirails I don't really care.

I always say grey to this, but I'm pretty sure it's only because it can be spelled two different ways. Probably purple if I'm being honest.

Cashew chicken. Kind of Asian (but not really), can be sweet, and is generally nutty.

1) What is your favorite MS Paint Adventures moment?
The first time I realized how intricate and ridiculously linked together Homestuck was when WV started drawing the pictures of the planets on the wall of the ship, and then played chess. I literally sat back from my chair, stared at the screen for a second, then got back into this thing with a zeal vaguely reminiscent of some crazed, sign-holding mad person who has been getting very, very upset about the misuse of similes in this post so far and is getting pretty riled up about the sentence she was just thrown into.

2) Who is your favorite MS Paint Adventures character?
Hmmmm. I do enjoy Vriska greatly, but likewise I harbor much love towards Problem Sleuth, and Rose.

3) Favorite non-MSPA work of fiction?
Such a vague question. I'm not sure if I can narrow down my field. Ummm.... I'm a big sci-fi/fantasy freak, so I suppose I'll throw out Spider Robinson's Callahan's Cross-Time Saloon. I've also fell very much for Neil Gaiman's work, especially the Sandman comics, and Larry Niven's Known Space sagas.

4) What music do you like?
All the music. All of it. Except most deeply commercialized country and pop, although I can appreciate the skill it takes to market and sell. Basically, I have three rules for music. If any are fulfilled, then it is listened to:
1. It is good. If it's a high-quality example of the genre, I'm into it.
2. It is interesting, in any way (I got into metal through an interesting neurological experiment, for instance)
3. It is catchy.

5) What's your typing quirk?
Long, detailed paragraphs combined with what I like to think of as a healthy degree of sarcasm, as quick wit, deadpan delivery, and puns. Oh, the puns. If you mean actual typing, though, I've yet to determine that.

My name is Daniel, I reside in northern Virginia, and I will be starting my second semester in community college this next month, ultimately aiming for some sort of Mathematics major when I transfer.
I'm incredibly nerdy, a huge grammar nazi, and I cling to anybody who shows me the least bit of attention.

1) What is your favorite MS Paint Adventures moment?
I hope this isn't a bad thing, but when Gamzee goes insane and kills everyone :x I just love how unrivaled his rage is, and how unstoppable he ends up being. It's also a vast contract from his usual relaxed silly state of being, which is an interesting surprise.

2) Who is your favorite MS Paint Adventures character?
Dave is definitely my favorite. Even though to the untrained eye he seems one-sided and seems to act cool to everything, there's actually so much more going on about him.

3) Favorite non-MSPA work of fiction?
I'd say the whole Legend of Zelda timeline, mainly because there is connection between the multitude of games and it's really mindblowing.

4) What music do you like?
I'm probably one of the few people who can actually say I've liked a bit of everything. I had my Post-Hardcore days, with ADTR and such. I was obsessed with deadmau5 and Skrillex for at least a few months since then. I have all of the Mindless Self Indulgence albums, even the newest Tighter rerelease. I also downloaded a huge bunch of Vocaloid a few weeks ago. In short, I can listen to almost anything, except most country and some hip hop and rap.

5) What non-Homestuck things do you like to do.
Let's see...
There's some video games, my latest addictions for those are Skyrim and Team Fortress 2. I'll lay in bed and blast music, which is nice. I don't really have an abundance of friends, but I do get out and go to the mall or to the movies every once in a while. Speaking of which, The Darkest Hour is a good movie.

6) What is your favorite Homestuck album?
AlterniaBound or Albums 1-4. Homestuck for the Holidays is also a fun album to just play a couple tracks from, especially the past few weeks.

My first ship that I clung to like a little baby was definitely Dave x Jade, it's not a crazy ship but I love the sound of it. Also, Karkat and Terezi. I usually keep with the usual and safe ships.

Erm, well I read lots of other comics. I keep up with Invincible, The Walking Dead, and Luther Strode in particular at the moment. I also like Dr. McNinja a whole helluva lot.

Rock, metal and a lot of OSTs. I also have a guilty pleasure for old 90's era country music. Pretty much anything where instrumental/musical skill is evident and a strong feeling or story is conveyed if that makes any sense....?

I think I type with pretty good syntax and grammar, though I have a bit of a thing for stretching some words out with now real reasonnnnnn. I kinda curse quite a bit too, but we'll try and keep that under thumb for now.

Prospit & Derse! I loved the concept of the two moons from the beginning, and the tone of the album is just perfect for them. The strings in the Derse tracks make me oooooooooze

I actually really like(d) VriskaXTavros, even though it's obviously far sunk by now. I don't really ship anyone else too hard though. DavexJade and EridanxFeferi are pretty cute though.

I'm a happy go lucky, little blonde 29 year old IT specialist from finland. Though I bite hard if annoyed. But I started to read homestuck around a half a year ago and it took me this much time to read it to the day. At first I thought it was boring, but for some reason, I decided to read until I liked it and so I did start to like it and eventually love. And here I am.

Now I'm going to answer some questions, because I'm too lazy to think these things on my own. Mwhaha.

1) What is your favorite MS Paint Adventures moment?
Hard to say. I think it hit me hardest, when Equius took Aradia to his hands and kissed her . Another great moment was when gamzee flipped out and shot an arrow to Equius's knee when gam told him to knee. And when Vriska first killed Aradia, then Terezi injured Vriska and Vriska hurt Terezi. And Karkat overall when he's so mad. And all that Jack/Snowman shizzles. And and and..!
Overall, I like very many moments in the comic, since there are a lot of great situations that I did not expect and they're all made greatly.

2) Who is your favorite MS Paint Adventures character?
Hard to say. I wanted it to be Sollux (since I'm a gemini, lol~ I do like him, but...) but I like Terezi's trolling, Equius's strongness, Vriskas evilness, Jack's badassnest (before him turning into omnipotent being), Karkat being a karkat...and you know. All of them. Kids too. That's why I like the comic actually, since there is no one ultimate superstart, but all are really great in their own way and I can't hate any of them.

There's a lot. I've had a lot of time to find lots of great things. Like Bastard, Cthulhu mythology, Diskworld, Katamary damacy and many many others.

1) What is your favorite MS Paint Adventures moment?
Wayward Vagabond's introduction, and his time spent with the pumpkin and plant inside the terminal, and then building of can town. Gosh I just love WV! That, or Vriska's death. Not that I hate Vriska, but it was really interesting.

2) Who is your favorite MS Paint Adventures character?
I can't really pick one, but I guess I'll have these two. I adore Dave, he's really easy to work with in roleplay and he's so deep. Plus, his humor is hilarious! Secondly, I love Feferi. I don't know what it is about her. Perhaps her adorable quirk, or her personality, with its brightness but then extremely dark side. Best fish chick princess!

3) Favorite non-MSPA work of fiction?
I play videogames a lot, and I really love LoZ and Pokémon. But other than that, I also read a lot of manga and read a lot of books too, and I can't really pick one. I do have to mention my love for Uzumaki (the manga). Its art, tension and storyline are so well executed and excellent!

4) What music do you like?
I have quite varied taste in music. I listen mostly to pop and alt rock, but I also spend some time listening to heavy metal, classical, and etcetera. I'm really ... odd about it!

5) What's your typing quirk?
On the forums, I type like you're seeing now. Mostly excellent syntax and grammar (or I try, anyway), but with a somewhat informal diction ... but when I'm on an IM client or talking to friends, I type with no caps whatsoever. I also do this when writing journals or poetry! Also I like to use ellipses a lot, and when I get really EXCITED about something I start CAPITALIZING EVERYTHING!

6) What is your favorite Homestuck album?
I absolutely adore Homestuck Vol. 8, and I listen to it all the time. Mobius Trip and Hadron Kaleido was awesome too!

7) What is your favorite MSPA ship?
It's silly of me but I'm a big shipper and I like way too many to name just one. But I will say I like some of the really common and 'cute' ships like EridanFeferi, and John x Dave. Then again, I also like more outlandish ships such as John x Feferi and Jade x Gamzee.

8 ) What is your favorite color?
Blue! Especially really pretty, sky blue.

9) If you were a food, what kind of food would you be?
Uh, this is a hard question. I would be pizza. A variety of different things, mixed together into one quirky yet delicious snack!

Hey there! My name is Kaitlyn and I just joined the forums today. I've only been into Homestuck since about November or December, though I only really started reading actively in the latter part of December. 1) What is your favorite MS Paint Adventures moment?
The scene in Homestuck where Wayward Vagabond takes his role as the Mayor of Can Town. His love for his citizens in those few scenes moved me to tears. It was so touching and beautiful. You don't see that kind of selfless devotion everywhere, you know - especially not in government. Humanity has a lot to learn from the Mayor of Can Town.
(I'm still pretty new to Homestuck, after all - give me a little time. ;D)

2) Who is your favorite MS Paint Adventures character?
It's a tie between Rose and Dave.

3) Favorite non-MSPA work of fiction?
God, I have so many interests it's not even funny... I'll go with Doctor Who or Harry Potter, I suppose... Wait, that does count, right?

I have a variety of groups that I like. Genre-wise I am a bit preferential to Scottish and Irish rock, but typically I like to specify my tastes

I don't suppose that I have one. I haven't given it much thought.

The Squiddles album, I suppose. Of course, that could be because it's the only album I've had the privilege of actually listening to in it's entirety, but whatever.

At the moment I'm really digging Dave x Jade. There's just something about it that I find to be absolutely, positively adorable. I like quite a few other couplings, of course, but DxJ so far is my favorite.

Ironically, whimsicalGuru is the name of my 'human' character, yet this account is mostly my troll? Haha, and is also the name of my pesterchum if anyone wants to have a nice chat, I'm up for it!

I don't know! This has always been so hard for me! I love so many characters! They are all mostly very well developed and are so unique... I really have a soft spot for Tavros... but I can relate to Jade in so many ways. Dave makes me laugh ALL the time, as well as Karkat with his Brooklyn rage. I really can't decide. :)

I listen to just about everything. From country to rock, and pop to hip hop. Indie and classical and... anything that sounds good to my ears, any lyrics that proclaim truth, and anything that has the ability to stir up some emotions, pretty much. :)

Anyways, Im real big into music stuff, and I consider myself to be quite good at composing and playing percussion instruments (drum set, keyboard, ect) Some day I'll actually finish and composition and record it and put it somewhere.
