Hello, this is a relocation of the previous Homestuck TF2 mod (linked above)
As of right now we have a fairly steady flow of traffic coming in with people introducing themselves and pitching in however they can
but we felt that we might get more traffic if it were in a more suitable thread
So here we are
The Homestuck TF2 mod
Sburbfortress

Our plans as of now are to give people models based on headcanon of whatever someone wants
for example
some people felt that Kanaya fit better as a medic
and others felt that John was better as a medic

We will attempt to fill as many people's canon as possible
so there will be multiple things of everything

The current plan as of now is

Announcer - Karkat/Doc. Scratch/Hussie

Scout - Dave/Gamzee
Soldier - Rose/Karkat/AR
Pyro - Terezi/John

Demoman - Gamzee/Terezi
Heavy - Equius/Hearts Boxcars
Engineer - Sollux

Medic - John/Kanaya/Nepeta
Spy - Vriska/Spades Slick
Sniper - Jade/Eridan

This isn't the final plan though
and we can attempt to add different character's for different roles

FAQ

Q.Why don't you make different characters for different team colors, like Terezi on the red team as a certain class, and Sollux as the other?
A. This is unfortunately not possible, the different teams just use a recolor of the model, for instance, the spy model has to be the same for red and blue, or things get messy

Q. Why don't you update the site?
A. The answer for this is in the first post under the important notice, but anyways. my site editing program has expired and I don't have enough money to pay to get it out of trial mode, so until then I am trying to get the trial on my lap top

Q. You said later in the thread that you got the trial on your laptop, why are you still not updating?
A. I am trying to recover the FTP address for the site, in Lamens terms, that means I'm trying to get a sort of "virtual password" for the site that I am currently unable to recover

Q. May I audition for a part of VA?
A. we need as many Voice Actor's as possible, if you can, leave a voice clip of the character you wish to voice

Q. How about Modelling/Skinning? can i sign up for that too?
A. Go for it bro, we have very few in that particular field right now, I'm pretty sure they would invite you into their red quadrants if you were able to help

Q. Where can i download the latest Vriska model? since it's not updated on your site
A. There is a thingy on gamebanana for that, just search "Vriska" in the search box and it should pop-up in the results, I'm also putting a downloading thingy in this post, so yay

Q. Yay, you are actually updating the site again! will links start to be updated again?
A. NOPE, site is dead, it had a good run, but the site costed money, and I couldn't put up enough download links on it to warrant it being an actual thing, the funeral will be held in my backyard

If "who's who" hasn't been completely finalized yet, might I suggest having Jake or AR be the Soldier? I think that either of them might fit the role better than Rose would.

Also, I have a little mapping experience. Has anyone ever thought of making a thing like ctf_skaia or koth_frogtemple?

So, I thought I'd try my hand at voicing Gamzee, and I'd like your guys' opinion on it. Do you want sober Gamzee or Stoned Gamzee? I think that Stoned would fit the demoman's personality more.

Well, I'm not a part of the official team, but I think that the mod is more geared towards pre-scratch, but that may be open.

yep, it works, the textures on the dead ringer are working (yay)
but was that only for the hoodless model?
that's all that i found in the file,
i downloaded the RAR file but I'm only assuming that both are the same
unless one is hooded and the other is hoodless

Also, to whoever made the Terezi model, the back of the dress/skirt/thing clips through the back of her legs.

yeah I'm getting on that. The turtle neck is iffy but im working on a solution. There are only a few more hats that I have to move. (Seems like they were only the ones that you picked). Pyro hats will be changed right after I finish the spies.

While I think it's a good idea, and could be an optional choice for the soldier, I don't think it really fits in with the "canon" of this mod, I guess.

So I got some lines done with my crappy laptop mic, and will post em tomorrow. I'll then re-record with my good mic, if you guys like them.

hoodless :T can't fix hats for hooded. I think I miss-read what you said. This is a hat patch. The patch I had earlier was the current hoodless model.
