From my standpoint, this qualifies as "bad" more in the sense of what liking does to my image. But who really gives a shit about image, anyways?
Frankly, I like some of the things Bieber does with the vocals better, but I can't stand listening to the album version because of his girly pre-pubescent voice. My hope is that, when his voice stops changing, he'll re-record his old singles.

Take my last entry, for example. That song employs auto-tune which automatically makes it objectively awful. However I enjoy it anyways so I post it in the guilty pleasures thread.

I know where you're coming from but you gotta be careful about stuff like this. Why is autotune any less legitimate of a tool for writing music than growling, or falsetto, or pick slides, or feedback, from the guitar, or tons of other "gimmick" sounds? (the answer to me is there is currently a cultural trend to just add autotune to cover up bad singing or just plainly use it boringly)
