It is your opinion so I won't argue with that, but I disagree.

I'm not ashamed of loving 80's metal or hair metal. Why would you be, it's some of the greatest music ever to grace our earth!

Agreed. But it did produce some bands which are things to be ashamed (I refer to them as things, yes)

Haven't been on this thread for a while, but it's okay. Just keep calm, and...
    LOOK PIMPIN'.

I don't think it's bad, but it's also not something most people I know would like, so, yeah, I consider this a bit of a guilty pleasure.

ZZ Top rules man,but I admit Eliminator is not their best work (That being Tres Hombres)

nothing against this phase of yes,but big generator was kind of lackluster.

I feel no guilt listening to disco. I love disco. Disco is great. This song is great. But it's kind of embarrassing to enjoy what amounts to ten minutes of throbbing bass and synths and fake orgasms if anyone else is in earshot. Not even the raunchiest lyrics imaginable could come close to the hedonism in the actual music above.

It's all Giorgio Moroder's fault, but I'll give him a pass on starting that fad because he's Giorgio Moroder.

Anything by ClariS. If there is anything to be hated about jpop, it's in there. All of it. And it is the sound sparkles make and I love it!

My sister listens to too much Disney music.

Ergo, I listen to too much Disney music.

She can never know how much I enjoy it.

Arms, there is nothing to be ashamed in liking Gaston's song, though. After all, no one sings like Gaston.

I totally forgot to post an examparu of the trailer music I meant by what I think to be bad:

It's all the same stuff, really. Layered instrumentation, all that. It just ends up blurring into "pretty much the same as the last one". And yet I find myself crawling back to it. Curious.

I was just messing around with the idea that al 80s metal is hair metal, which people seem to have.

The Cure thinks it is a goofy pop song that nobody should be listening to but I think it is a goofy pop song that everybody should be listening to

The severe unfunnyness of Saturday Night Live pretty much ruined this forever

I was totally floored when I heard this for the first time, and then totally disappointed when I discovered it's by far the most interesting thing she's ever done.

And for god's sake The Internet, it's a harmonizer, not a vocoder.

so I was listening and was like hey that's pretty cool, then got to the part where she's like "what did she say" etc etc and that part of the song is used in some other song that plays at work.

Wait is Pumped Up Kicks supposed to be a guilty pleasure? I always thought it was a great pop song with some pretty hilarious lyrics.
