I watched Stepford Wives last night. Throughout the whole thing, I was trying to figure out what gender the movie was more sexist against. It was pretty bad on both.
But I love the Zeerust-y Old Timey future.

Hunger games. my friend cried during "one part" (well, you KNOW who wins, so it cant be much of a spoiler when they die... but sad indeed) even though she read the book. I almost did. it takes a LOOOT to make me cry during a movie.
Also, she nearly jumped on me when the animal thing jumped out of the woods. I jumped a little too.... :P

Caught most of Final Destination 3 on TBS, last night. Never really "got" horror movies, but it wasn't absolutely terrible, which was sort of a bad thing for me. I'm not positive what the intent of the movie was, but it's like... the acting and directing were a tiny step above so-bad-it's-good, leaving it as being so-bad-it's-still-pretty-much-lousy.
That being said, it did have a couple amusing ways of killing off characters, and I actually liked the sort of penultimate twist near the end, even if they immediately subverted it.
In theaters:Ghost Rider 2
Completely not in theater:American Werewolf in london
Last movies seen part of:The fly.
Rocky Horror Picture Show. Never gets old no matter how many times you watch it!
Repo! The Genetic Opera.
9/10, but it only appeals to a certain kind of person. The best kind of person.

oh man. I caught "Drive Angry" on cable the other night. I don't think I have ever said "what the HELL am I watching?" so many times during one movie. Practically from the first second of it too - that opening narration is enough WTF for at least 5 movies.

I am sometimes this guy:
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.
It is as if I have reached the nirvana of absolute stupidity and it is wonderful.
