    You do not have a pack. Nor do you possess any sort of wall-destroying abilites. Only bad dogs destroy walls, and you are a good dog.

    And as for your pack. . . your pack was your master. And you haven't seen him for a long time. You can't even find his scent trail anymore.

    You miss him though. He was the first thing you remember seeing.



    You hurt a lot then, but he made it go away. He taught you how to make the other things there not be scared of you, and even how to ask them for food.

    But then things changed. Something scared your master, and he left. Everywhere you go, you search for him, but you haven't found him yet.

    Someday you will. Someday.

    You start to pace by the side of the building. You can't think of any way to get in, maybe something will come out int the morning. But it looks like your only option regarding that is to wait.

    Will you do something else, or will you just go to bed?

    But, judging by the light from the roof, the inhabitent is out foraging as well. It's a shame, but you can still find food elsewhere. The stone field always has something to eat in it.

    It startles you out of your sleep, as your brain franticly tries to figure out what it is.

    Of course. . .

    It's a helicopter!

    This could be your ticket out of here!



    First real good news you've heard in a while. Of course, you still have to get it's attention before it leaves.

    If you don't have leftover scraps, you could always tear some cloth off a body
    Or use an arm

    You quickly grab your weapons and start to head out. The copter was hovering above a cul-de-sac on the far side of town, and you need to get there quickly, considering you aren't the only thing in town that would be interested in something new.

    You don't know if whoever's in that copter is prepared for zombie's or not, but even as weak as the zombies are, whoever they attacked would probably panic.



    They look rather terrifying.

    You can either head to the Cul-de-sac by running through lawns or keeping on the streets. The lawns will give you better cover, but will do the same for any zombies hiding in wait, while the street will give you plenty of room to move, as well as advance warning of zombies. The streets will also take a bit longer, and time is of the essence.

    What do you do?

    SHORT HIATUS:

    When I started working on the latest update, I realized that I'd made a few big errors when I planned the layout of the town. So, I'm basically going to have to redesign most of the town in order to make my ideas work. I THOUGHT I could get that done fairly quickly, but it's been taking a lot longer than I thought. So I figured I'd throw this up here so everyone knows the thread is still alive, I just need a bit more time to undo some mistakes.

    Thank you all for reading, I hope to get this done soon so I can get back to posting.

    Also, sorry about taking so long to get stuff up. I ended up rereading the story that made me want to start a thread, and now I'm almost finished with the redone stuff. I'll have the update up and ready sometime Monday evening if things go well.

    And here. . . we. . . go.



    You head down through the hospital, and start running through the streets. Your route will take you past one block of houses, and another that appeared to have stores of some sort. It's a right turn after the stores, and the cul-de-sac was on the next block after that, the biggest block in the whole town.

    And. . . spotted



    There are only two of the doglike zombies, for now, and you're pretty sure you can take them in a fight. Which you'll probably have to, considering the buggers can run about twice as fast as you can.



    What do you do?

    HEY ERRYBODY I'M BACK!

    The first pic in the update was drawn in a bit of a different style than what I usually go for on this thread, takes a bit more time to work with, but looks a bit better except I still can't draw for shit so tell me what you think, and if you like it I'll draw the rest of the updates that way.

    And sorry for not updating often. I've had a pretty busy schedule, but it'll hopefully be clearing up soon and I'll be able to update more often.

    The web covered wall is too far away, not to mention the zombies are between it and you.

    The zombie going for your legs knocks your spear out of your hand, but you're still able to both sidestep it and bring the edge of your shield up into the leaping zombie's jaw, shattering it.



    The other zombie the other zombie spins around, going for your legs again, but you crush it's skull with your shield. A strange sort of glee fills you as you see it's blood spill.



    Where are you running too?

    What?

    If you're heading towards the helicopter, there are quicker ways to die.

    You turn towards the direction of the voice. . .



    . . .shit.
