Sweet Jeff and Hella Donut

This is a webcomic that I've been working on for a bit now, I started it earlier this year. I'll make it clear that it has nothing to do with Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff at all. I showed my friend (whose name is actually Jeff) SBAHJ a while ago, and he really liked it, and then as a joke one night we decided to "make our own webcomic" where the main characters were extremely exaggerated versions of ourselves. Actually, the best way to put it is it's about two characters that represent the way I joke around with my friend. At the forum we were both on, my username was Donut.

So I made half-assed comics that were sort of just SBAHJ knock offs only the jokes were switched with inside jokes between my friend and I. We eventually decided that we wanted to branch off it just being a little parody of a parody and since then, I've been making it into its own comic. We kept the name mostly because SBAHJ inspired it in the beginning. I do the majority of the story (save for a few things here and there that my friend thought of) and I draw all of it too. The comic was really, really messy when it first started. Mostly because I wasn't taking it seriously at all. It was just for fun and was mostly a giant joke. But now I've been picking up the pace and actually trying to make an elaborate story in the comic, as well as trying to improve my artwork. I'd really appreciate it if I could get some feedback on it! I'm trying to shoot for being a comic artist/cartoonist and this comic I sort of consider to be my first actual practice towards achieving this goal. Any sort of criticism would be wonderful.

I think this is a pretty good comic, at first I thought it was just basically a ripoff of sweet bro and hella jeff (the name definitely is, that's for sure), but I'd say its different enough to the point where it's not just an exact copy and is funny in its own way. The way the characters talk is hilarious... As for criticisms, I don't really know what to say. I think you nailed the "so bad that it's good" genre pretty well... :P
