    So. Game day. Who's excited?

    I'm excited.

Proof of concept for cosplaying as adult Aang is a success.

EDIT: You know, I can still remember watching this on the first night the original aired. Seven years. Really puts things into perspective.

I must say, Quirk, you are looking quite a bit jollier than I imagined. Maybe that's because there are no Vriskas in Avatar.

...I think my house is lacking in any possible Avatar-airing channels. Ugh. This sucks.

Your chumhandle is cascadeViolinist and you tend to use contractions only when you are very excited and trail off in the middle and end of sentences... but you often attempt to avoid that.

Wait, when does it air in my area. Is it airing at all?

(Of course, I saw the first episode a couple of weeks ago, but still...)

    Also that...

...That is dedication, Quick. I don't think I'd be willing to shave my head for a TV show.

    Pretty cool, I guess...

Man, I wish I could draw. I have next to no creative talent.

I haz no scanner or web cam. T~T I wish I could...I will quest for a scanner on campus this week for sure. >:3

Till then my collection of stuff I can't put online grows.

@ OCTI: Aww never sell yourself short, in all honesty I suck at drawing too, but small children enjoy my work and sometimes people of my own age group. So just draw! It may not be professional OMG this can be put in a museum or on TV good, but its a lot of fun.

Look in the library or the student affairs office. If you really need to, fax it to your e-mail through the latter.

    Hm. It fits.

Also, an idea: what if we met Appa this season? Sky bison are supposed to be companions for life, so theoretically he could still be around, given that Air Nomads had a tendency to be old.

But wasn't he Aang's companion? If Aang is dead, I can't think of Appa being alive. They were just too close, it doesn't fit. My guess is that new Air Bison is an offspring of his (it's pretty much a sure thing, there weren't really that many of them left).

M & B had actually considered making Appa female and giving birth at the end of the series. Instead they settled for Aang found a herd that survived during his travels. Oogi (the new one) is one of them (the pattern is different.)

Oh man, looks like this is going to be pretty damn awesome.

You think that the guys with the motorcycles (likely the Equalists) kidnapped Bolan because they mistook him for a member of the Triad?

I have no idea what Bolin was doing there in the first place so I have no idea why the Equalists were there or why they'd want Bolin (aside from him being a bender, and a known associate of Korra).

The clip is having issues loading on my laptop. I am disappoint.

Re: The Avatar: the Last Airbender / Legend of Korra Thread

Okay, so I have some things to ask.

    1) I know of Foaming at the Mouth Guy, but who are Cabbage Guy and Pole Guy?

    2) Should I go back and watch every episode of the first part of the show, including the episodes that I missed the first time around?

    Answer me honestly and truthfully.

The Cabbage Merchant was a recurring character in the first season. He was Earth Kingdom and traveled all over the place selling his goods; or at least, he tries to. Every time he shows up Aang and the gang destroy his cabbage carriage with him screaming to the heavens "MY CABBAGES". He is cited as an information source for the theatrical performance of Aang's journey late in the last season.

I don't know who Pole Guy is.

Okay, that actually sounds like an amazing running gag. I will definitely will be on the lookout for similar gags in this new season of the show.

Any early contenders, do you think?

Like I mentioned earlier, I really wanted that phonograph salesman in the first episode to take his place.
