Have you tried the steps in the FA%? If so, and it still doesn't work, download and run the debug build.

On Quirks. Quick question, Is there any way to have one quirck be 'more important' than another? I ask because I replace 'qu' with 'qwe' but, I want to replace 'quit' with 'abscond' but only ever get 'qweit'. Help? I'm new at this.

I was trying to click off of my someones Chumhandle on my chumroll, and I ended up clicking too much, and now my chumroll is blank, and I've tried adding them back, and I've tried adding other people, but it just stays blank. What should I do?

This has to do with how you order your quirks because they are applied in order from first to last. What you want to do is to have Pesterchum look for the word 'quit' before it looks for the characters 'qu' so that it finds the word before it is altered. If you use those arrows on the side of the quirk management screen to move the quirks around, you should be able to fix this. Alternatively, you could keep the order, but tell it to replace 'qweit' with 'abscond' and that will solve your issue as well. Just keep in mind how you order your quirks.

Go to Run... and type "shell:AppData Local" and a folder should pop up. Go to the "pesterchum" folder, then open the file called "pesterchum.js" in Notepad, and copy paste its contents on pastebin and post it here. I think your config file got corrupted.

I don't know if this has been asked before but when I click on pesterchum, an box pops up saying to choose a program to run it with, I click on pesterchum of course, but then a error comes up, I've tryed re-installing as well, what's going on?

I left PC running to go eat and when I came back, I couldn't move the window or do anything. It just froze and stopped responding. I can't click on anything at all. And when someone says hi to me via random encounter, I can't reply cause although the modus thing is blinking, nothing I type is inputted.

Did you click on the application Pesterchum, or a .jar or .js file called "pesterchum"? That seems like it might be your problem.

there was no pesterchum folder in my roaming and when i went into the actual folder in my program files there was no pesterchum.js

im really confused at what could be happening

It works just like registering a nick on any old irc. Click help, and choose nickserv. You'll then be querying nickserv. The syntax to register is:

register password email
