Takumi: "I don't care, as long as it's not here. Just keep flying, we'll see where we end up." Right now all you want is to get to a safe place so you can rest and recover and part your ways with this girl and her father again. All of this shit is simply not worth it.

Most of them are still confused as hell, and getting any coherent answer is hard, to say the least. A few of the older people, mainly anyone who would've been head of a family, say that theres a town to the northeast between here and the capital. Because the capital is a good place to go.

Also, the stranger adds his bit.

Perspective change too Mayor comically trying to get into the keep.
Mayor is standing in front of the hugeass fortress, trying to communicate with the guards. He points at the fortress, then lowers one hand to what is approximately your height, then points at the fortress again and does his best to look inquiring. The lack of eyebrows make it g'damn hard. The gateguards, which have rotated by now, look very confused.

Mayor continues the charades. He grabs his Silk Sash and wraps it around one of his eyes, and points directly at the sash, and back to the fortress.

I guess I'll just bring this airship over to that nearby town. The one where I got that airship part.

The guards look even more puzzled. Either they dont understand, or they really havnt seen Bohw. One of them politely asks Mayor to leave.

In other news i added Mayor's item to the stats page.

Ofcourse, the ordinary folk dont know you've already been to that town recently. You set the heading, then settle down to wait. Some of the commoners are drifting off to sleep, but most cant seem to relax enough.

You're not sure how much time passes, but eventually the town appears ahead, dark under the nightsky. There is noone out, ofcourse, and you simply settle the airship down in the middle of the village square, turning off the necessary functions and so on. The city seems to be fast asleep, or atleast noone realises you're there. Miquel begins talking to a few of the various people aboard, telling them that they're safe now and that they should talk to the local nobles about refugee. He knows the lord and lady of this city, and they're good folk, they'll offer what help they can. A few gather whatever belongings they brought and say their goodbyes, then get off, walking towards the manor which Miquel pointed out for them. The majority stay aboard the airship though. "We'd like to stay here for a while," one says. Another one mutters something about getting far away. They're still pretty close to their home city, and they're still scared.

    Well, it's landed.
Maybe you should've seen about getting your wounds patched up with the first aid kit over there?

I'll tell them that they can stay there if they want, but I'm not planning to do any more travelling tonight due to any combination of be being tired, the airship being in need of maintenance and it probably wouldn't be wise to pilot an airship while missing a considerable amount of blood. I'll go and speak to dad's noble friends in this town.

Chimeric, you truly are cruel. Do you want to get Takumi killed within three or five turns?

Takumi: Mumble a curse and start patching up your wounds with the first-aid kit. Landing in the city where you are a wanted fugitive in the very airship a large crowd saw you escape in. You'll have to be gone by morning, by now everybody in the town will associate the airship with your wanted posters that have undoubtedly been put all over the town.

Miquel hurriedly scribbles down something on a noteblock (he carries pen and paper all the time), then hands it to you. "Show this to the lord, alright? I have some errands to run here, and it might take a little while. And, ah, take this." He hands you a small purse, which, after examination, contains 100 gold coins. On the paper is a hurriedly scrawled depiction of a stylized eagle, wings spread out to either side.

Miquel smiles, then turns and heads down one of the streets, walking rapidly. You turn and make your way towards the manor.

The people there have already been answered by what looks to be a servant. They seem to have convinced him to wake the lord and, just as you walk up to the small crowd in front of the manor, the servant is closing the door, saying he will be back with the lord in just a minute.

After what is more like five minutes, the door is opened again, this time by a tall man in perhaps his fourties. He looks quite dismayed at what he sees. "Ah. He said it was bad, but... Sim, will you wake old Sebban?" The servant, who had been standing behind, bows and moves further into the manor. "Come in, please, come in. I am lord Brent. Come, there'll be space in here." He shows you to what must be a reception room. "Take a seat. The cleric will be here shortly. Do tell what has befallen you, the way you look, and arriving in the night?"

One of the commoners begins talking about the recent events, but she is clearly hysterical, and after quieting her down somewhat, another, more well-formulated person takes over, quickly going over what happened to your home town. Before he is done, the servant arrives with an old man, carrying a foodtray with fruit and bread aswell as a pitcher of water and several mugs. The old man looks surprised, if not shocked, at what he sees - several of you have bloodstains on your clothes, after all. He immediately begins circulating around the room to heal each of you in whatever order he deems you need it. He uses several turns on each individual, making certain that his spells are cast right. Meanwhile, the servant just starts from one end, offering food and water to all of you.

Once the man is finished relaying what happened, Brent remains silent, thinking. You figure that this is a fitting time to give him Miquel's piece of paper, and hand it to him. He looks at it, perhaps not really seeing it, busy as his thoughts must be. "This is dire news indeed, if true..." Then he seems to recognize it. "Ah. Hm." Again, he is silent for a while. "Sim, you'd best see if we've enough beds to accommodate our guests, then." "Yes, m'lord." And off he goes.

Quickly enough, it is your turn to receive healing, and the old clerics spells close the various wounds you took and restore your strength by a good bit, though you're still tired.

I'll take that as a compliment, but the truth is that you did nothing about it :mspa: Game logic says that you've been getting better though, and game logic obviously trumphs real logic.

Regardless, you lay a pretty good bandage on yourself (roll 17). You should be fine with just a little bit of rest.

Speaking of which, game logic also says that succesful stealth turns you invisible, and obviously noone will find you if you just hide yourself like slightly. I mean they've got a large airship to steal their attention. Just saying.

You cant see any posters of yourself closeby, either, for that matter (roll 18). Which makes sense since none of them ever really got a clear look at you. Some of those thugs you fought might've seen your back as you retreated from the merchants manor, though. Maybe.

Before I retire for the night, I'll mention one more thing. "Before the big one flew off, he said something in a strange language. I could be wrong, but I think that it meant something along the lines of 'I'll kill you' or 'you can't kill me' or something. This is probably nothing important but I figured I should mention it anyway"

Mayor facepalms. He unwraps the sash and fits it over his torso, gives the guards a nod and storms off in a huff. Mayor just assumes that if even if Bohw is in the keep, she should arrive in the tavern after she's finished doing whatever. Besides, it's not like anyone in there would have any clue to Mayor's goal in finding his old friends. He begins guessing where the hell the Dragon's Tail is, and without the ability ask for directions, he realizes how troublesome this could be.

Thunderpaw, in folllowing seasonal Bunni traditional ritual, starts hiding painted shell hollows around the town. You may roll to see how many you can find. :U

Also dont ask where the eggs came from, as that is a secret closely held by the Bunni race.

He frowns, and asks what exactly the shade had said. After repeating it, he looks surprised, and a little worried. "You... Know the Ancient's tongue? And so do these creatures? That is... Curious. I dont know if it means anything other than the fact that they speak a dead language. Regardless, i would be careful, if i were you - we dont know what we are dealing with or why they chose to so viciously attack."

After finishing the food you were given, you and the others are led down a corridor to what appears to be servant's bedrooms, a few extra beds hastily prepared with linens and sheets. The others are told that they will be found more permanent accommodations on the morrow. The servant, Sim, is sent off with a wheelbarrow packed with bedsheets, to distribute among those sleeping on the airship. He returns a little while after.

    Thus passes the night.

In the morning, you and the others are given a quick breakfast, and the lord starts whatever preparations he views as necessary, what with the dire news. Between the healing and the rest, you are quite fresh, though an hour or two of additional sleep wouldnt be amiss.

Though most of the locals are ignorant to your revered traditions, a number of kids quickly catch on, and make a game out of it. 'Tis the season, after all.

You are convinced that your handiwork is well carried out - the eggs are not hidden too obviously or too well to be frustrating, and a few of the hollowed shells contain notes or riddles written lightly on their sides, on the locations of the most well-hidden eggs. The kids, and perhaps a few others who catch on, enjoy themselves quite well with this game.

The guards look relieved to be rid of the big armor golem. Bastards.

The problem isnt so much finding the inn itself as finding the street it is on. Most inn's have signs that are visible from far enough away. Its a big city though. And Mayor has no idea where to begin, and he cant ask anyone.

Then he happens upon what appears to be a brightly colored egg, hidden between the equally colored flowers displayed outside someone's windowsill. On its back is written A trail, there is - A garden over n' two cheesevendors between~

The airship is just fine. The people are just waking up (probably with the exception of that still-nameless stranger whom i assume to have woken earlier than everyone else because). You get down to fixing the airship up, and it really isnt a problem. You fix what you can manually, and mend what you cannot magically, and in less than half an hour, it is as good as new. Which is funny, because it is pretty new.

Most of them are not open yet, but a few people are emerging from the buildings all around, and some are setting up their stands. They're eyeing you and the airship with curiosity. Anything specific you are on the lookout for?

You stop by Salvatore's workshop. The door is still knocked down, so you just walk in and call for him, but receive no answer. You have a look around, and it is pretty much exactly as you left it, though someone must've been past and removed the corpses. Salvatore is nowhere to be found, however.

I'm sure he won't mind if I snoop around a bit. I'll look around to see if I can find any large devices which could be weaponized and mounted on the airship.
