I'm pretty sure "Fraymotif" is derived from "leitmotif", which basically means a piece of music associated with a specific character or event.
The fray part probably denotes it's use for combat, since it's similar to the word strife.

Man, is that horrible quality.
Oh, well.
The message gets across.
The message contains my FEELINGS.
And the mountain is a metaphor.
So deep.
How high would you even have to be?

Since they know Breath comprehensively, they completely know the physics of gases. They know atmospheres and which planets have them. They have a radar sense of sorts due to objects disrupting patterns in Breath. Basically they'd be omniscient but only in the present timeframe and as long as it has air.Heirs would seem to benefit (passively?) from their Aspect before gaining full control, as in inheriting (control) of their aspect. They don't necessarily have to be protected, just serendipitously benefiting. How do you think an Heir of Time would work, going by the theory that Heir is protected by his aspect? Would it be things like bullet time, where things slow down when in danger so that he can react faster? Or maybe it would be something like he wouldn't age as much as others...
Think of that weird Green Sun backdrop First Guardians get, now color it blue. Instead of plasma it is now wind, done.
Control the amount of Blood (whatever that translates into) ratio in people. Passively benefit from Hope without control and then gaining full manipulation of Hope, Faith, Optimism.
Well, as I was ninja'ed Fraymotifs are derived from leitmotifs which are musical themes associated with a specific noun. Therefore, Fray referring to Strife and Motif referring to music, Fraymotif are musical themes associated with the Hero that gives them some Strife benefit. Probably tying into Earthbound as mentioned before. I imagine this also references a number of series involving Chosen Children and music and such.

Hey so I started this public googledoc

How it works is that Red is canon classes
Bolded text is things we know enough about both the role and aspect to pretty much confirm that that's what they'd do.
So I bolded the description of what Sylph of Mind would do, as we know enough about sylphs (allows others to see) and mind (decisions) to know what that class would do, but I didn't bold the description of Heir of Breath, even though we've seen that class in action, as all we've seen of it is fancy windwork.
EDIT: I also included a black border so we can stick non-canon aspects and roles outside of it.
Well, seeing as this thread is about to come to the end of its lifecycle (as it is currently has around 2.4k replies) I'll post what I speculate is the role of the Guide, one of the non-canon roles which has appeared.
What is a Guide?
A Guide is someone who can guide their aspect, or people by using their Aspect. Guides will often be a major player in critical battles, although as a Passive Class, they often do so from the sidelines.
The powers of a Guide will vary from person to person. A Guide of Dreams may use their dreams - possibly on both Prospit and Derse, and then, later on in the game, in the Furthest Ring - to help their fellow players with what they need to do, while a Guide of Speed may use their powers of Speed to enhance themselves and fellow players alike, while also hindering their foes by slowing them down. A Guide of Time would be able to lend their powers to others in order to, for example, allow themselves to prevent a bad post-entry prototyping, or to guide the flow of time itself in such a way that doomed timelines do not occur in their session, sometimes by seeing what would cause the timeline to split in the first place.
Guides can be considered wild cards: they can use their Aspect in many ways, once they know how to do so. Most Guides will gain their powers within themselves, although some will have to manipulate the Aspect itself, sometimes by stealing it from someone else like how a Thief or a Rogue does. Guides can use their aspect to see like a Seer - in fact, a Guide of Time can use their powers to see what will happen - or to protect others like a Knight. Unlike a Bard, though, who may be able to use other Aspects, a Guide is limited to the Aspect that SBURB/SGRUB has given them.
However, a Guide who has gone off the deep end is a dangerous entity in itself, especially if said guide was the key keeping the team together before they went off the deep end. The problem is that some Guides - especially those who can allow others to use their Aspect - will end up facing at least one Choice, and maybe more, that has been offered by the enemy and/or by someone who may not have your best intrests in mind. If you are a Guide, and you get one of these offers, unless you'll be unable to counteract the end result of not joining in any way, do NOT take up the offer. They can lead to Doomed timelines or to huge problems for the rest of the group, even if the side making the offer 'promises' not to harm your friends anymore - they are either lies, or they will make you forget about them in some way so that they can exploit a loophole in their offer - they would only leave the friends that you remember alone. Of course, if you know rejecting the offer would doom the timeline, do NOT accept right away. There are cases of Doomed Timelines being converted into Beta Timelines - timelines which continue to run even though they are not the Alpha Timeline - so if you believe you can get away with turning a Doomed Timeline into a Beta Timeline, then do so. Only if you have already tried, and failed to do so, should you seriously consider taking up the offer.
And now for some warnings. Be wary of Guides of Void, Rage and Doom. This trio, even though there will only be at most one of them in a normal session, can be dangerous if left to their own devices, and are especially desired by foes and outsiders alike. A Guide of Rage can, if they are working with you, help keep the team's rage under control, but if turned against you, he can send you all insane with rage, causing you to kill each other. A Guide of Void can send you and your allies to be forever trapped within the Void itself if turned against you, while a Guide of Doom can cause your fates to end much earlier. If you DO have one of these three in your group, make sure to stay on their good said, and always keep an eye on them - you never know when one of them will flip sides and will cause no end of problems. A Guide of Light can be just as dangerous, as they could take all of your luck - ALL of it - if they are turned against you, leaving you always missing with your attacks and failing to dodge attacks aimed at you. And a Guide of Heart could end up breaking your heart and soul in more ways than one if turned against you. Basically, if you have to choose between either your Guide player or someone else to join the other side, NEVER pick the Guide, no matter how bad you think their Aspect is. It will always bite you in the rear later on.
I would now give an example of a Guide player, but to do so will spoil some elements of one of my current projects which I may or may not have shown on here.
In which case, could someone lock this thread? It helps prevent this sort of thing from happening again.
