Yes!!! Megas XLR was SOOO good but so under-appreciated.... Toonami pretty much put Cartoon Network on the map as far as with adults, and all the shows on there were fantastic: Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Hamtaro, Card Captor Sakura, Batman, etc. Some people may hate me for saying this, but another really good (but weirdly hated) show on CN that they don't show anymore is Code Lyoko... Yeah....

To be honest I never liked the anime on Toonami, but then I've yet to see an anime that really drew me in or interested me whatsoever. Except Pokemon, but I grew out of that when I was 13.

Code Lyoko was pretty good, and I can still say I liked it without contradicting the above statement since it was a French production.

AT/RS saw success with their high weirdness attribute so naturally Cartoon Network went completely overboard into the sickening area with stuff like MAD and Mount Fortress Awesome or whatever that piece of crap is called.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. Both AT and RS are weird, but they have a coherent, understandable plot for each episode. You can't just throw together some "zany" stuff and expect people to think it's "genius" or "a masterpiece". Adult Swim did the same thing too. Their best shows were the ones that had followable plots (The Venture Bros. being the best example), but then they continued to spew out stuff like 12 oz Mouse and Squidbillies and shit like that. I mean, putting a bunch of annoying, grotesque images doesn't make you "avant-garde", it makes you annoying and gross.

But... I like Squidbillies (Not that the Venture Bros isn't 100x better).

It's terribleness makes it great.

My parents watched it for the first time a few days ago. I have literally NEVER heard them laugh so much. Of course, it WAS "A Bunch of Baby Ducks." I was expecting them to mark the show as stupid and needlessly weird when he turned into the mega-duck-man, but they CACKLED.

Then I told my brother, and he had the most pretentious way to discuss why he doesn't like Regular Show. Can't please 'em all.

I'm not sure if I like Mordecai or Rigby more; they tend to act as a foil for each other, so taking one without the other is never as entertaining (well, Rigby does get into some ridiculous situations on his own). Benson is probably my favorite character over all though.
