I'm going to suscribe for EVE Online, but before that, i have some questions. Anyone got tips on how to make enough money for plex? I'm currently done with the tutorial and all that stuff, but i'm still piloting a noob frigate.
I'm thinking of fitting a Catalyst (Gallente) and salvage after people's fights, but I don't really know where to look. Any MSPA players out there?

In all likelihood, you won't be able to play for plex right at the start. It's gonna take you a while to get enough ISK in a month's time to buy plex. But low-sec pvp and mining are decent ways to get ISK, if the game hasn't significantly changed since the last time I played it. Of course, you gotta know how to fight in low sec. Also look to see if you can join a corp with some cool kids who'll do higher level missions than you're qualified for now, so that you can get a jumpstart on upgrading your ships.

Ah! I played through the demo of that and thoroughly enjoyed it, but I think I'm too immersed in Path of Exile to try and switch streams into something like that. Ah man the thrills of finding an item in a set just sends chills through your spine. Path of Exile's unique items are very very very rare, which makes it all the more special.

I also heard high praise for the game when it came out, and I am anxious to see just how good it is. Haven't had a good new dungeon crawl in a while.

Torchlight's a bit repetitive but it's still neat, especially for the price it's sold for (cheap) and especially for the price you got it for (free)

Okay. Here's the thing about Torchlight. It's an inferior version of Fate (at least thus far). Pretty much everything was ripped from that game. Fame system? Check. Quests that scale to your level? Check. Randomly generated named enemies? Check. The ability to feed fish to your pet that can go and sell shit for you to turn it into a monster temporarily? Check.

The main differences I've noticed after an hour of playing are that Torchlight has character classes and thus less customization options (Fate allowed you to make your character literally any way you wanted with no initial leaning toward any playstyle), a worse visual aesthetic (seriously the Ember Mines are so goddamn bland), and a slightly more in-depth plot.

My only complaint with Torchlight so far is that the pathfinding AI for your partners is fucking terrible. Which is no good if you play a summoner. Aside from that it is ridiculously similar to Diablo, which I just finished replaying, so it's feeling a little stale ...
