You took too long, Wuff!
Thread for to talk about video games.
For a clever title, might I suggest something involving The Elder Scrolls V?
I don't know or care about Skyrim, so someone else is going to have to come up with it.
Unrelated, I don't think there's much worse as a game collector looking up some sort of obscure game that is pretty good you want to pick up and finding out it's $200+.
Also responding to PeTA nonsense from the previous thread: they have pretty much always relied on crass sensationalism for attention. It's very sad that people are stupid enough to give them their time and money, instead of supporting organizations that actually DO things for animals. Most of the big name ones (the organizations that aren't explicitly scientifically oriented) unfortunately are up to some stupid bullshit on a much smaller scale, but that's another thread.
Ouch. I've looked up games that were just idle 'hey this looks fun to play' and found out that the price was similarly outrageous.
For the title:
[Game Chat] FiVVVVVVe
[Game Chat] Thread Five is Alive!
[Game Chat] World 5-1
No.
My friend owns Shantae (the game in question), but he doesn't let me borrow carts for some reason. I need to play it at his place sometime.
He also owns Earthbound, but he thinks it sucks just as much as I do. His collection is actually probably worth quite a lot.
I think I will wait for a few more suggestions before I decide.
FIVE-A-LIVE
(I already pointed this out, but nobody seems to have noticed anyway)
definitely panic if there’s caviar
I spent five bucks and all I got was this lousy bundle.
[Game Chat] Part 5: We're slowly becoming Activision.
Because that's the way we name threads in the year twenty exty ex.

No.
I’d be one, if not for a strongly ingrained aversion to living beyond my means. So instead the closest I get to a “collection” is a smattering of hand-me-down GB cartridges from my cousin (the best of which Mom outright lost for me, thanks a lot), some horrible wastes of money for PS2, and some not-horrible wastes of money for PS2.

Game Chat 5: The Sequel to the Movie; The Game!
There's finally some gameplay footage from Max Payne 3 out.
Sitting here just jizzing myself over the character animation right now
That looks so badass and I want it. Although the fact that the Joystiq video blue screened my computer might be an indication that I won't be able to run it.
Also the folks complaining about the addition of a cover system is rather silly. I'm guessing they've never even seen the John Woo films that inspired Max Payne's action in the first place.
I have some old games, nothin much though.
