Hold up, we're still in the release - Counterstrats still haven't been found yet. I'm pretty sure there'll be champions he loses to damn hard, even in a 1v2 context.

He's a skirmisher who will get absolutely destroyed in big team fights. CC that keeps him from autoattacking is also vital. Time his passive to smack him with skillshots the second his invulnerability turns off.
Isn't the problem in 1v2 fights the fact that he can pretty much heal himself? Wouldn't that make him free against healing received reduction items?
Aatrox is like
you need to engage 3v1 on him, all at full hp, and cc him so he can't burst one of you down with him
and if he's fed, the 3 lose the fight anyway

I'm kind of amazed at how different opinions can be of a new champion, here he's massively op, but on some other forums he's trash tier that can't do anything in a team fight even if he's massively fed.
Honestly I don't think he's OP, just that people here haven't adapted. I've never faced him myself or played him. I have to admit.
League of Legends: Thread 3v1, Aatrox wins anyway.
Nah but seriously I'll be honest, I have no idea what aatrox's ulti does. That would probably help.

Also, quick brief for Epamy, his ult is a self-origin no-cost AoE that deals magic damage (that scales off AP so that's fine) and gives him attack speed + attack range. The AS steroid is pretty good, but it doesn't do anything insane like stack depending on how many dudes it hit, like I thought it did until I checked just now.
